I visited The Body Shop today and was astounded at the markdowns they have taken on several products. All the holiday scents (Jolly Orange, Spiced Vanilla, Cranberry Joy) are drastically marked down. A few of the deals I saw were:
- $1 Bath Lilies
- $8/$10 Select Body Butters (200 mL)
- $25 400 mL Body Butter & $15 750 mL Shower Gels (These are humongous!)
- $4 Cranberry Joy Shower Gel (full size)
- $2 Spiced Vanilla and Cranberry Joy mini Body Butter
- $12 Select Skin Care Kits
- $5 Manicure Kit
- $5 Bubble Bath (the ones in a big fancy glass bottle)
- $2 Soaps
- 2 for $10 Hand Washes & Body Lotions
- 3 for $10 Select Make-Up
- 3 for $12 Home Fragrance Oils
- 5 for $10 Minis (including a new line of hand sanitizers)
I think the “$5 Body Wash (….in a fancy glass bottle)” is actually bubble bath.
I’ll be stopping in there tomorrow. I have a Groupon for the store as well – $40 for $20! Thanks for the heads up!
Oh it’s bubble bath? No wonder it looks so fancy 🙂 I changed the post.
Anyone know if body shop follows the scanning code practice?
No, The Body Shop does not implement SCOP.
Tried this online…
It keeps saying everything is out of stock.
online is picked over 🙁 no $1 bath lily for me!
When the last post was made about these great deals about 1 1/2 weeks ago I went online to body shop and once I put items in my shopping cart every single item was not in stock or not available, which is still the case. Too bad 🙁 looks like the website hasn’t taken off the products Christmas that are no longer in stock, which is pretty much all of it. Btw this is my first post to smartcanucks and have to say that I love this website and have gotten so many great deals from this website, yay!!
Is the 3 for $12 on Home Fragrance oils a good deal? I picked up a lip balm in cranberry for $2, i think that’s decent and a “blue shampoo” for $3 it seems OK too- too bad shipping costs more than the items I’ve bought HA!
Anyone know if there are nother PROMO coupon codes we could use ?
Thanks yo!
@Alex – Welcome to Smart Canucks!!!! 🙂
Only 3 out of the 13 products I tried to buy were actually available.
I just popped in and got a great deal. Their “Festive Pendant Diffuser” ornaments (Christmas star shaped) were all in a basket marked $1. And their scented oils (that the ornament absorbs) were $1 for both orange scent and cranberry. So i picked up three ornaments and 3 orange oils. When i got to the counter the ornaments scanned in at $4. Which, apparently is the correct sale price, but they had put them in the wrong basket. They did give them to me for $1 each though. So, for $6 I got three little gifts for next year. (I may use one myself though and hang it in the back of my closet.)
Saw the deal online… dropped by Bayview Village body shop, the diffuser reeds were $8 online, but $6 at the store! picked up 3 of them!
got a gift set with three 250 ml bottles of different shower gels for 10 dollars in the store!!!
Stopped in after work and got a Love Etc gift box ($68 value for $20), Spiced Vanilla body butter for $8.00, Spiced Vanilla body scrub for $2, travel manicure bag (w/emery boards, nail clipper, Almond Oil hand and nail cream and Almond Oil conditioning hand wash) for $5.00 and a regular-priced white waffle weave bath pillow for $11.00.
I had a Groupon as well so I scooped all the above for today’s OOP of $11.98! I paid $20 for a $40 Groupon several weeks ago.
Damn I paid $8 2 days ago for that fancy bottle bubble bath!
I’m definitely stopping in a store tomorrow. Their soap-free shower gel is the only kind of bubble bath I can use without getting a UTI.
Don’t know if it’s the same at other stores, but the one I stopped in had some 400mL body butters for $25, 200mL body butters for $10 (or $8 for holiday scents), and some 50mL holiday scented body butters for $2. If they have the scent you want, it’s a better deal to pick up 2 of the 200mL body butters instead of the 400mL ($20 vs. $25 for same amount) 🙂
