Capture

Now at The Gap Canada, the more you spend, the more you earn in Gap Stores. By shopping in store you will earn $25 for every $50 you spend now through to January 22nd. The maximum you can earn is $75 GapCash per transaction.

Spend $50 Earn $25 GapCash
Spend $100 Earn $50 GapCash
Spend $150 Earn $75 GapCash

You will be able to spend your earned GapCash from January 30th through to February 5th 2014.

GapCash is a program for customers to get more savings at The Gap. The cashier will hand you the appropriate GapCash coupon based on your purchase amount. There is no minimum purchase required to redeem your GapCash which is great! For example, if you earn $75 GapCash you do not have to spend $150 to redeem, you can simply spend $100 and use $50 GapCash instead of your $75.

GapCash is combinable with other offers and discounts at Gap retail stores, including Rewards Cards, first GapCard purchase discount, 10% GapCard Tuesday, and 10% Savings Pass.

“For example, if you earn $100 GapCash you do not have to spend $150 to redeem, you can simply spend $100 and entirely use GapCash!”

That is not consistent with what the Gap website says. The website says, “If you earned a $50 or $75 GapCash reward, you do not have to spend $100 or $150 to redeem. You have the flexibility to spend as little as $50 and still save $25, however, you will forfeit your remaining GapCash value.” which means you can redeem less than the value of your GapCash, but the rest will be forfeit.

Ex: If you have a $75 GapCash, but your purchase is $100, you can use $50 GapCash (the other $25 GapCash is forfeit), and so you still have to pay $50 out of pocket. In order to fully redeem your $75 GapCash, you would have to spend over $150 on your transaction.
