The Home Depot is selling their Home Holiday Accents Christmas trees, the artificial variety that is, for some as low as $69.99. The price value of these trees may initially seem pretty steep, but when you counter in that this is a one-time purchase, versus the alternative of having the annual expense of buying a real tree, the investment is certainly worth it.

Even better, the Home Depot is putting select items from their Home Holiday Accent tree collection on sale. For instance, a noble fir tree measuring 6.5 feet with pre-lit lights is only $99, down $30 from the original listing of $129.

With fake trees you also don’t have to worry about the clean-up or maintenance of a real tree, saving you much needed time that can instead be put towards more important activities (like decorating the tree!)

And speaking of decorating the tree, you also have the option to customize your tree to be a seasonal colour, other than the traditional green fir. This 7.5 foot white cluster pine is $219, but is every bit worth the money. Real trees of this size are sold for sometimes up to $209, but with this artificial white fir you will only pay a little bit more and will also have something to show for the rest of your life.
