The Home Depot Canada has a new list of FREE workshops for do-it-yourselfers of all ages and experience levels that are going in March & April 2019! You have to register in advance to be able to attend these FREE Workshops, the registration dates are shown beside each workshop. The Home Depot Canada March & April 2019 FREE workshops include:
- Kids Workshops:
- Saturday, March 09, 2019 – 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM: Build a Clock Tray. If you are looking for a fun activity to do with the family, we’ve got a great workshop for kids that will teach them about building. Kids can learn how to build their very own Clock Tray. (Registration closes March 3, 2019)
- Saturday, April 13, 2019 – 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM: Build a Birdhouse. If you are looking for a fun activity to do with the family, we’ve got a great workshop for kids that will teach them about building. Kids can learn how to build their very own birdhouse. (Registration closes April 6, 2019)
- Do-It-Yourself Workshops:
- Saturday, March 16, 2019 – 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM: Learn Paint Trends & Tips. Participants will learn how to choose paint colours and colour schemes, as well as discuss 2019 colour trends and top colours. (Registration closes March 13, 2019)
- Wednesday, March 20, 2019 – 07:00 PM to 08:00 PM: Learn How to Install Moulding and Trim. Participants will learn how to select, measure, cut and install moulding and trim. (Registration closes March 18, 2019)
- Sunday, March 24, 2019 – 01:00 PM to 02:00 PM: Learn How to Install Vinyl Flooring. We’ve got a workshop that will teach participants how to install vinyl flooring. You will learn how to prepare the surface, install and care of vinyl flooring. (Registration closes March 20, 2019)
- Saturday, April 6, 2019 – 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM: Enhance Your Home’s Curb Appeal: exterior painting, landscaping and gardening. Participants will learn about actions they can take to improve the curb appeal of their homes, including painting and landscaping tips, as well as installing accessories and lighting fixtures. (Registration closes April 3, 2019)
- Wednesday, April 17, 2019 – 07:00 PM to 08:00 PM: Build a Planter Bench. This workshop will provide participants with information on how to build a planter bench. The focus of this workshop is on a child-size bench, but you will learn how to alter the plan to make it more suitable for adult seating. (Registration closes April 14, 2019)
- Sunday, April 26, 2019 – 01:00 PM to 02:00 PM: Prepare Your Lawn for Spring. This workshop will provide participants with ideas on how to prepare their lawn for spring, such as aerating and dethatching, as well as seeding and spreading fertilizer. (Registration closes April 24, 2019)
