The Home Depot Canada has a new list of FREE workshops for do-it-yourselfers of all ages and experience levels that are going in May 2018! You have to register in advance to be able to attend these FREE Workshops, the registration dates are shown beside each workshop. The Home Depot Canada May 2018 FREE workshops include:
- Kids Workshops:
- Saturday, May 12, 2018 – 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM: Build a Windmill Planter. If you are looking for a fun activity to do with the family, we’ve got a great workshop for kids that will teach them about building. Kids can learn how to build their very own windmill planter out of wood. (Registration closes May 6, 2018)
- Do-It-Yourself Workshops:
- Saturday, May 05, 2018 – 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM: Planting and Caring for Perennials. This workshop will teach participants about the basics of perennials: how to choose perennial plants, preparing the soil for planting, planting perennials, as well as caring for mature plants. (Registration closes May 2, 2018)
- Wednesday, May 16, 2018 – 07:00 PM to 08:00 PM: Build a Planter Bench. This workshop will provide participants with information on how to build a planter bench. The focus of this workshop is on a child-size bench, but you will learn how to alter the plan to make it more suitable for adult seating. (Registration closes May 13, 2018)
- Sunday, May 27, 2018 – 01:00 PM to 02:00 PM: Planning & Building a Deck. Participants will learn about the steps required to plan and install a deck. The workshop will focus on identifying the tools required for this project, the different components of a deck, as well as how to install joists and decking. (Registration closes May 24, 2018)
