The Home Depot Canada has a new list of FREE workshops for do-it-yourselfers of all ages and experience levels that are going in January & February 2019! You have to register in advance to be able to attend these FREE Workshops, the registration dates are shown beside each workshop. The Home Depot Canada January & February 2019 FREE workshops include:
- Do-It-Yourself Workshops:
- Saturday, January 19, 2019 – 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM: How to Install Drywall. This workshop provides information on the techniques of installing drywall in your home. (Registration closes January 16, 2019)

- Saturday, January 26, 2019 – 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM: Smart Home Automation 101. Learn how to Make your Home Smarter: Smart Home 101. This Workshop will teach participants what is Smart Home Automation and what products are Smart. Participants will learn different device compatibility and protocols, key smart home products like voice assistants, smart bulbs, smart plugs, smart thermostats, smart cameras/door locks and door bells and smart home networking tips. (Registration closes January 23, 2019)
- February:
- Saturday, February 16, 2019 – 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM: Learn How to Install a Toilet. We’ve got a workshop that will teach participants about removing an existing toilet, fitting the new toilet, and know-how for installing it – such as setting the mounting bolts and wax ring, assembling the various components, as well as installing the shutoff valve and supply pipe. (Registration closes February 13, 2019)
- Wednesday, February 20, 2019 – 07:00 PM to 08:00 PM: Learn How to Install a Bathroom Vanity. This workshop will teach participants about the steps to properly remove an old vanity, how to safely mount and install a new vanity, different styles and finishes for faucets, as well as basic plumbing know-how. (Registration closes February 17, 2019)
- Kids Workshops:
- Saturday, February 09, 2019 – 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM: Build a Heart Candy Box. If you are looking for a fun activity to do with the family, we’ve got a great workshop for kids that will teach them about building. Kids can learn how to build their very own Heart Candy Box. (Registration closes February 3, 2019)
