While you may find that most or some of the items you will find at the Salvation Army Thrift Stores are over priced, I have also scored some pretty fantastic deals here! Last year I bought two brand new (with tags) Adidas Jackets for only $15 each when they had 50% off outwear.
I can also usually find good ceramics (new) to paint for fun, picture frames to decorate as gifts, and more! I can never find a good purse or handbag there but I know each location has different items and variations on stock.
