I ordered my surprise box today, and I have to add it isn’t all samples, a few of those are full size and some of the others are “trial size” (ie bigger than a sample, smaller than full size.)

I’m reading the reviews and it says that if you don’t want the flare magazine you can get a credit for it making the box much cheaper.
Just ordered mine!! I used my $10 coupon too…..I called to find out how the reduction for the subscription works and the paperwork is inside the box….you will be reimbursed for $12.95 when you send back the purchase slip with the forms.

I would definitely order it if I didn’t hate Flare. I haven’t liked it since I read an article on how “evolution” is making people more attractive, since attractive people are more likely to have children – thus attractiveness is preserved in the hereditary line. Bleecch. It’s not okay to be racist, sexist, ageist – why is okay to be appearance-ist? For those of us who aren’t supermodels, that would be nice.

How do you get the money back if you don’t want the Flare subscription?
you do not get money back for the magazine. Period.
Can you expand? Do you get credit? Or you don’t have the option of submitting the forms? I just ordered it and it would be nice if you could clarify.
You get a certificate for it. If you dont send it in you dont get it. You also dont get money for it. This promo isn’t about returning the magazine subscription. Are people really trying to be that cheap? Its no different then asking if you can return one of the full size items for a full return. 🙁
I don’t think it’s being cheap to want to opt out of the magazine subscription. Otherwise, why would they include that form in the box?
Then you just dont send it in. Their not going to refund you for it. Its essentially a bonus. Thats it. If its really a huge issue that you dont need it theres many womens shelters, dr offices, hospitals etc that would gladly have it gifted to them for people to read.
Actually Sally, the magazine subscription is ALREADY included in the price of the kit. You don’t have to send anything IN in order to activate it. The paperwork that comes with the box states this. If you want to OPT OUT of the mag subscription, you have to send in the papers that come with the box, along with a copy of your order confirmation and FLARE will send you a cheque for 12.95.
TSC will send the paperwork to FLARE on your behalf in order to get your subscription going. You should receive the magazine the month after you order the kit from TSC. If you want to opt out of the mag subscription, THAT is when you send in the FLARE paperwork included in the box.

The box is totally worth it. There were a few full sized items. The Elizabeth Grant Serum that is normally $74 was in my box. The option to opt out of the Flare suscription is given. This way you get $12.95 back. Using my $10 savings, the whole thing really only cost me about $13.00…which was awesome!
I ordered this today and I am super excited to get it. Sounds like a really good deal and I don’t want the Flare subscription, but I don’t care I still think that it is worth it.
why don’t some of you female shoppers admit that this is a sexist company..most of the products are geared to female customers…how many male hosts are there?..thats right just 2…and most of the female hosts think they are stars,and dominate over the product representatives…and the customer service is terrible….i know that from experience….so i’m just voicing my sincere opinion….yours sincerely…anthony
Did anyone received Flare subscription reimbursement check? I sent mine on November 15 and still hasn’t received anything yet.

I got the magazine last week..I sent the info to decline the subscription a week after receiving the box…no refund yet…grr…I emailed the shopping channel, they said to contact flare…I emailed flare and am waiting for a reply.
I bought 4 surprise boxes and sent out 1 reimbursement check in November. Last Thursday I got a cheque for $51 or something around there
Got an email back from them today saying they’re swamped and a cheque will be in the mail asap.
