The controller itself retails for $54.99 at various stores, so it only costs $5 extra for the game (which is the Game Of They Year edition). Costco is definitely the cheapest. The game is fantastic, we ended up having to get extra controllers so everyone could play (up to 4 players).
This may come down soon though (not sure if the controller package will), or disappear (this pkg) as number 2 hits shelves January 18th. Normally I do not know game release dates, but this one I have known for months.

This game is awesome, we own it for PSP and PS3. my kids love it (6 & 3) and me and my hubby play it even after the kids are in bed. i would recommend this game to anybody.

There are several packages like this with different games. Well worth having a look at what is available, it was how we picked up at least one of our extra controllers.

The costco price is $56.99. I just bought one last week.
Price on LBP-GOTY Edition was $15.99 last week in clearance bins at Staples stores, at least in New Brunswick.
