I was just at Tim Horton’s and found a deal I thought I should pass on to everyone here. All summer long you can get a small iced coffee for only $0.99. I love them. They are a great alternative to the Ice Cap if you want something cold but don’t want the extra sugar and calories. So yummy. Tim Horton’s coffee but icy cold. Great treat for a summer night.
I checked the website to see if I could find more details, like when the sale is officially over. All it says is all summer long at participating locations across Canada.
Yayyyy!
I’m totally going for a iced coffee the next time I need a quick pick-me-up!
Great deal…just ask them for some coffee with their ice! I find they overload their cold drinks with ice.
Sorry, but if I wanted that, I’d go into my freezer…not go elsewhere to pay for it!
I was just there…if I had known I would’ve got that…I guess next time
Is this same as the iced coffee made with coffee “syrup” and “liquid sugar”?
I didn’t like the concentrated coffee syrup last summer…
Remember when they had these free last summer? That was enough for me. Didn’t like it. And the discount isn’t huge anyway, they are normally how much? $1.29 for a small?
i asked for a double double ice tea and she gave me the hot and said to put in freezer for 2 hrs…its their secret recipe?
Is this coffee with ice on it? Yeck! Coffee is supposed to be a hot drink.
@Brock – lots of people like iced coffee, including myself.
i love the iced coffee, i’ve been craving it and was disappointed last night when i went to get some and got the answer “we dont make it at this time of day”
how hard is it to keep cold coffee around? haha
just so you know, dont expect it to be available at night.. pff
I wish they had something other than dairy milk.
I remember taking my white-Canadian friends to a Chinese café one time and I ordered a cold coffee, which is a very typical drink in our culture. They were like, “Who the hell drinks COLD coffee?!!” … with Timmy’s making them now, I wonder if they will try or at least not find it “as weird” anymore, haha.
thanks for posting! Sometimes it is nice to have a cold kick of caffiene!
Last time I tried it (During the free promotion), each stored varied in their taste – some tasted sweet, some with no sugar. All they do is put their normal coffee into a container.
Ok.
Iced coffee is a brewed pot of coffee poured into the Iced coffee machine. Takes about 10 mins to cool it and keep it cool in the machine.
After that, whoever orders one:
Depending on size small is 1 pump of syrup, medium is 1 and half pumps and large is 2 pumps.
Then we add 2 shots of cream from the cream machine.
And the rest is self explanatory. (add ice and coffee from machine).
My husband and I love the iced coffee- we always ask for little ice and extra syrup if it’s too strong- Perfect!! If you want a similar version at home we’ve starting using the Nescafe Iced Java- add the syrup into a glass of milk and you’ve got your iced coffee fix and your calcium for the day!! It’s almost good for you=)=)!! Oh and I saw somewhere that this Timmies promo ends September 5th…
starbucks makes iced coffees, they just make it like normal and put it over ice… it’s really not complicated, and you can get it at any time of night too.
Aw man! For a second, I thought it was ICED CAPS! 🙁
@ Julyprincess … i thought that too the Ice Caps taste a lot better than the Ice Coffees
yeah this sounds good WE as a family always go to tim Horton,s for coffee.most all the time thank you
Went to get one today at Richmond Centre Mall (Richmond B.C.) and the girl said they don’t have this promo??? I guess it’s only at certain locations.
You should check the sites http://www.thetdlgroupltd.com which is the company
that owns Tim Hortons. This name is owned by people who are starting a
campaign to tell the truth about what this company is all about and
are gathering former franchisees to share their horrifying experiences
of owning a Tim Hortons. Also the site
http://www.timhortonslies.wordpress.com is also another site detailing the
way this company operates. I believe a TV news agency is doing a story on this. You never hear anything bad about this company. I will not spend another dime at Tim Hortons.
