I make seceral purchases per day. Each being at least $10 and at least 4 items. I have now spent $60 in 2 days at timmies and am still 3 purchases away from a free coffee. This program only really benefits those who make small purchases. Disappointing…

this reward program totally sucks, I bought 5 coffee in a single visit and only got 1 point, At Mc Donald`s I would of gotten 5. If you want loyalty , how about treating your customer decently, greedy people run this establishment now. I am going back to McDonalds to get my coffee again and stick your reward program.

You are so right, Norman. I, too, often purchase several coffees at a time! At least at McDonalds there is a stamp on every cup!

I buy French Vanilla Cappuccino every day. In my mind it is a coffee as well but using the program card does not consider it a coffee. That is not right.
With Roll up the Rim when you win a coffee you can get a specialty coffee, so whats the difference.
    Not Impressed

Bought 2 coffees, had to ask for a rewards card and she didn’t even include them on my card, said it was too late. Not nice

Tim Horton’s staff should ask the customer prior to completing their purchase transaction at the till if they have the Rewrds card. I just acquired mine & went today, got my food & beverages and paid. I then asked the clerk to scan my card & was told I have to tell them before I pay. How was I supposed to know this. At the LCBO, they ask for your Air Miles card before paying, at other retailers that offer the Optimum points, they also ask. So I was not happy & told the clerk he should have asked….he couldn’t have cared less. So the visit today didn’t count for anything. Not impressed.

this program or rewards card is a joke its BS…i drink french vanilla yet when i try to redeem it only for a coffee….i dnt drink normal coffee thts not what i want, change this or loose a customer to MacDonald’s….ther is plenty of problems with Ur rewards program but if i buy a fr v ND are forced to get normal coffee ill go the extra block nd pay for a reg coffee at MacDonald’s

Tim Horton’s now has a rewards card so we the customer get the seventh purchase “FREE”……..so they raised the prices of the coffee to cover off any “FREE” product that the customer may receive which I’m sure is a financial gain for them. Get rid of the card and lower your prices. Thanks for nothing.

I am also disappointed with your so called reward promotion. I bought 6 coffees the other day but the girl didn’t let me use my reward card so she entered 1 for me..Wow way to go. Today I went in for a med coffee and when I put my card to add my coffee it gave me a free on, I did not ask to redeem because I wanted to build it up. At least McDonalds uses a paper card so this does not happen. Time to go back to McDonalds

Epic fail Tim Hortons….within the first 2 days the shop I frequent ran out of reward cards. Not a big deal but still where is your planning? Today no points given because they got a new system. When I asked about how I could get the point I earned today the reply I received was a shoulder shrug and I don’t know.
Spoke to a second person who told me to come back later today. I then try to contact via the chat feature and it’s not working.
Perhaps Tim Hortons should rethink this “REWARDS” program. Not many rewards that I can see.

This is a ridiculous reward system. Even the employees don’t know how it works. I have 100 points. I want to redeem all 100 by getting two cookies worth 50 points each. No, I can only redeem for 50 points at this visit. I have to wait for another visit to use the other 50 points. Bizarre.
