this promo code does not work. i tired many times the site just say this code is not valid or not avaliable for movie selection something to that affect. i have tired it on the dates and premium and regular tickets and it still did not work.

I too could not use this. I’m not a new scene member. IT just came back with code invalid and i used the link you provided to Mai. It never asks for your scene card number and the promo doesn’t work so how do we use it.
Ditto. Ticket purchase doesn’t seem to work with this discount code. I tried buying tix for 4 different movies and each time I received the following error code:
The specified Discount Code is invalid or does not apply to the items in the transaction
Fair enough that the promo code doesn’t apply to all titles (eg. Gala or Special Presentation programs). However, it would be much more helpful if Scene/Cineplex or TIFF published a list of titles that qualify for the promo. With the current system you have to fill out the order form (including your Visa card) every single time just to see if your movie selection qualifies for the discount.
Probably the most frustrating and disappointing online user experience I’ve experienced in quite some time.
