Thanks for posting this. It is not just the PS3 version that is on sale at $50, but rather ALL Guitar Hero Live guitar kits that are on sale (including a game disc and one guitar controller). I just purchased the Xbox 360 kit at this price. They also had the PS4 and WiiU kits at this price. The Xbox One kit is SAID to be at this price, however there were none left in stock (not sure if the prices are also applicable in-store for in-store items…those with Xbox One’s who wish to purchase this guitar kit may get lucky if this is the case). Note that this game is NOT compatible with guitar controllers, or any controller for that matter, from previous Guitar Hero titles. Furthermore, this game ONLY supports guitar controller play, so there is no longer drumming and no longer singing (vocals). The game is now developed by FreeStyle Games (the studio who brought us DJ Hero) and the guitar controller no longer uses 5 coloured fret buttons, but rather 6 frets (three on top, and three on bottom) on the guitar controller’s neck by the headstock, thus eliminating any hand sliding. I tried a demo of the game at Eb Games, and for someone who has literally purchased EVERY SINGLE previous iteration of Guitar Hero, I was less than impressed, but at $50, I’ll take a chance on this.
