An email was sent out with a coupon for $10 off when you spend $10 or more on LEGO Building Sets at Toys R Us Canada. This coupon is valid for one time use only, and each coupon has a unique barcode that can be scanned instore, and a code that you can use online if you would prefer to shop that way.
The coupon is not valid on items that end in .94, so this does exclude the new series of minifigures that came out this month, as they are $6.94. It would apply to the Marvel minifigures and the little sets in the bag though, as both are priced at $6.99. Two of those items after the coupon would be $4.50 for both, Ontario taxes included.

Tried to use it on Friday on a $15.99 Lego set and it didn’t work. Both the cashier and the manager didn’t know why. The manager fixed it by applying the $10 discount manually but it was a long wait trying to get them to figure out what to do. We tried it with an expensive set ($119.99 I think) and it worked. The fine print say that it is for any purchase over $10.
I had one code that didn’t work in store because I had tested it online. I ended up just completing my online purchase for in-store pick up with that code. It was on the two small bags at $6.99 each. It also worked on two minifigures priced at $6.99 each.
