Each ENCORE Free Play ($1) is awarded as a QUICK PICK play for the current draw only and is issued at the time of purchase. From my understanding, Lotto Max is pretty much the same as Super 7 with the exceptions being that the jackpots are “apparently” going to be higher, and oh yeah, the price has more than doubled. ( $5 from $2 for a basic ticket. )
    The game is the same and your chances in no way improve, yet your cost has more than doubled ?
    No thanks.
    I REALLY hope people boycot this game. I know I will. It’s worse than the hike from $1 to $2 for 6/49 a few years back.

    That’s right. The same odds of Super 7… 1 in 28 million but with a higher cost. Which explains the minimum pay out of $10 million.

    If they’re successful with this one, it will be the biggest con job ever pulled.

      The odds of winning these things are next to impossible anyway, but people still play the lottery. Imagine if you won, that is the dream that people have. They play their entire lives and win nothing. Just saying if you are going to play, you can get free encore 🙂

  4. radio says:

    Well, with super 7, the min. jackpot was 2mil, $5 now gets u 10mill which is kind of better. If it is next to impossible to win, then why are there winners. Sure the odds of you winning are terrible but what happens if your the one who won?

    also, there is cap for $50mill, after that, there will be another prize for 1mill.

    @farrelldds: i like your thinking. this game sounds like junk to me.

    For everybody on this blog…the odes of winning are the same actually, with the difference that you get two categories in which to play (the $40 dollar pool and the next one up which is the $180 dollar pool.) As confusing as it may seem, people tend to spend less these days – simply because no one in the right mind will play for the $180 dollar pool unless it’s a group of people playing. Regardless though…even if you played as a group – based on the maximum amount…you’ll never get a decent profitable portion once it’s divided into groups. As far as I’m concerned, the game isn’t very forgiving on the wallet. Gosh…I really do miss the super 7.

  12. Kevin says:

    Your payouts on your brochure seem to be wrong. Why is there a higher payourt for getting 5 numbers 5% than 6 numbers 4%.
    These guys arte idiots

    is not the same odds of Super 7… 1 in 28 million but with a higher cost. How do they come up with the odd’s of 28 million to 1 (1 in 49, 2 in 48, 3 in 47, 4 in 46, 5 in 45, 6 in 44, 7 in 43) know you do the math. 49 x 48 x 47 x 46 x 45 x 44 x 43 = 432,938,943,360 to 1 of getting all 7 numbers 49×1=49 49×48= 2,352 49x48x47= 110,544 49x48x47x46= 5,085,024
    49x48x47x46x45= 228,826,080 49x48x47x46x45x44= 10,068,347,520
    49x48x47x46x45x44x43= 432,938,943,360

    Finally, Lotto Max will be worth playing next week! I really didn’t want to support this lottery, because up to now, it’s been a more expensive Super 7 substitute with worse odds, to boot.

    @Brian: You don’t quite calculate the odds that way. It’s 49 choose 7, or in other words 7! * 42! / 49! = 85,900,584

    where ! equals factorial, which means you multiply by one less all the way down to 1, e.g. 7! = 7 x 6 x 5 x 4 x 3 x 2 x 1 = 5040

    So, each play has three lines, so you divide the 85,900,584 by 3 and end up approximately 28.6 million. But with next week’s 10 bonus draws, you would a 10 in 28.6 million chance, or 1 in 2.86 million chance of winning at least $1 million, if my math is right.

  16. Chi of Steel says:

    Oops. Adding the odds for the jackpot, you would have 11 in 28.6 million of winning big, which is closer to 1 in 2.6 million.

  17. That car looks awesome. I would pay anything to own it. Has anyone made any bids on it yet?:D Sow i want 2 o them if its possible
