Urban Planet: $10 Party Dresses

While Urban Planet is no Chanel or Cavalli, $10 for a party dress is certainly considered a bargain. It says that the regular price is $39, so that’s a savings of almost 75%. I’ve never bought anything from Urban Planet before, so I can’t say anything about the quality.  I still prefer a little black dress over these bright colours though.

    wow!

although noteworthy: almost all the dresses left are size XS; which from this store is about a size 0.

oh and their facebook suggests that “FACEBOOK10” gets another 10% off

@honeydoo That’s great news for me, except I don’t shop there. Oh well. It’s a good deal for those interested 🙂 especially those events where you need one dress and afterward, you will never pick it back up again because you can’t bother to or because you wouldn’t be caught dead wearing the same dress.

For those who need bigger sizes, best of luck to you guys when checking it out in-stores (if this promo runs in stores that is).

comes in black and up to a medium 🙂

Urban Planet quality isn’t super fantastic – but honestly if you’re going to wear the dress just once or twice it’ll definitely due (& you can’t beat the price!)

In most cases I have trouble finding XS dresses, so this is great!

This is a great deal for the young’uns…take your teens…quality is low but you will get the wear, they take the SPC card…and they are a Canadian business…whats not to like ?

I work at Urban Planet and in the one I work at has quite a few large left of the $10 dresses… and there are some really cute black ones left. So if you like these dresses you may want to check out the store closest to you. There are also alot of other great deals because we need to clear out all winter and fall stock. We are making room for shorts and flip flops so Boots are on sell (some more than %50 off) winter jackets (many are just $10) sweaters (most only $5). Lots of great deals if you like their clothes.

In my opinion – the sizes are really small.

I typically wear M/L at stores like Rikis or Gap… and often find the Large at this store too small.

Used to love the store when I was younger though… lol

It is a store geared towards youth so it’s got junior sizing instead of women’s sizing. There’s definitely a difference in sizing because the people designing the clothes use a different “imaginary body” to put the clothes on. Sizing is a complicated thing to navigate in today’s malls. Don’t get me started on the issue of “Vanity sizing” LOL, that’s a whole other issue.
