Oh goodness sorry, you just select dvd or blu ray, the blu ray version is an extra 20$

Keep an eye on tv ads. Not interested in it, but I was amazed to see (I believe CTV) offer it for $29.99

  4. Sally says:

It is the EXACT same price at CTV. BUT CTV charges shipping. The shopping channel doesnt.

Has anyone seen the DVD and is it worth buying?

  6. CSLT says:

    Thank you 🙂

  7. Ally says:

@preciouslotus They said before that the dvds/blu-rays will ship 6-8 weeks after the closing ceremony of the olympics.

  8. Ally says:

I just noticed something else too. Check their taxes:

    CTV charges $10.78 tax (4.49 + 6.29)
The Shopping Channel charges $9.60 tax

Guess where I’m buying the blu-ray…

  9. Sally says:

Maybe because CTV is charging tax on their shipping as well? Thats why shopping channel is cheaper because they are offering free ship?

  10. Ally says:

I guess that’s why I got confused… Their taxes got added before they added the shipping.

  11. Sally says:

yep and since its free shipping through tsc its cheaper

  12. Ssseth says:

Thanks for the tip about the Blu Ray drop down, I didn’t see it the first time.

  13. AllyF97 says:

How do I get this in the US?

  14. ED says:

Its been over 6 weeks… is there a problem with del?? Ed

  15. Barry says:

CTV’s 6 week grace period for shipping is over – so does anyone actually have this set in their possesion ?

and is it worth the nearly 80 bucks (once shipping and taxes are included) that CTV wants for it ?

or where else can you get it beside the shopping channel ?

  16. Kyle says:

Getting VERY annoyed with my purchase of this through The Shopping Channel.

Ordered this February 28th, 2010 at which time the status said “In The Warehouse”. Now how the hell can they have it in the warehouse when it hasn’t even seen an editing room floor yet??? Seriously need to rethink their status policies. We were told we would NOT be charged for it until they actually shipped the item to us, only to be charged for it March 3rd, 2010. Called The Shopping Channel on April 20th to check the status of the item and were told they would in the warehouse April 24th. Called again 15 minutes ago only to be told that they wouldn’t be getting the item until May 20th. THANKS FOR NOTIFYING US!!!!

Last time we will EVER buy something from The Shopping Channel. I don’t give a damn if they’re selling a 10,000 sq/ft house with a Koenigsegg in the driveway for $1. They can keep it.
    GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR

  17. Kyle says:

Only reason I’m sticking it out with The Shopping Channel is for the Coffee Table book that no one else (not even CTV) is offering with the DVDs.

  18. Trina says:

    Hey Kyle

In the same boat as you but my tracking number doesn’t work! I got it with the book too. Does your tracking number work? Have you got it yet?
Email me [email protected] if you want as I dont know if Ill check this page. I sent in a complaint so they are working with Canada Post to find the package and if not I can choose a refund or reship the same order free of charge. I choose the reshipment option in case it happens.

    Thanks,

    Trina

  19. Mike says:

I ordered the Blu-rays from CTV directly (in Feb) and they were offering the “Limited Edition” Photobook to go with the pre-order DVDs or Blu-rays.

I received the discs in June and then was just told today, after I called to complain that I hadn’t received my photobook, that “Oh sorry, we only printed a few of those books so if you didn’t get one by now, then you are not getting one at all.”

Really? I must have missed that in my ordering process – you may or may not get what you ordered. The book was really part of the reason I ordered.

So they offered a $15 credit. But I had to ask for it. So if you ordered from CTV directly and didn’t get a photobook, as promised, call them at 1-800-361-0018 and ask for that credit. $15 is better than nothing.

I had a feeling something like this was going to happen.

  20. Mark says:

Hi Mike, I’m in the same boat as you except that I ordered from the Vanoc website. This is the response I got today:

“We will not be fulfilling any free booklets as CTV has not provided us with any inventory to complete these orders. We do not expect to receive any booklets as CTV produced less booklets than they committed to providing customers.”

So they’re blaming CTV. I’ve emailed back asking how they are going to compensate customers who did not receive what they ordered. Hopefully I’ll get the $15 credit at least.
