So I just saw this on TV, Victoria’s Secret grand opening at the Eaton Centre in Toronto on Thursday, Oct. 28, 2010. I googled it and apparently the event has a Facebook page, and I quote:

The VS reps were handing out gift cards with unknown amounts on the them, but the starting dollar value is $10.

I got that gift card! I’m going after the 28th because I’m not that big of a fan of Alessandra. I wish Adriana Lima was coming to the Eaton Centre. I would have paid the $100 to get into the express line.
When the Square One VS store was set to open, it was made clear that the supermodel would only autograph the official or provided photo from the store, not anything else. I don’t recall reading about fan photos from the opening event. With many potential shoppers wanting time with the guest supermodels, I don’t know how store staff/security would permit much time after the autograph was done.

I love Alessandra Ambrosio but I wish Adriana Lima was coming too, or Miranda Kerr! This is definitely not worth the mayhem. What models were at the Square One opening, Ciel?

No, I didn’t see it there. I went and bought stuff. The line up to get into the store wasn’t that bad. But the line itself was HUGE. There was no one in the VIP line till 2:30 p.m. I was there for 3 1/2 hours and waited after 5 p.m. but there was no sign of Alessandra. I got what I wanted so I bolted and didn’t care.
