Walmart Canada Anniversary Sale Week 2 Flyer Savings

walmart1

Well, week two of Walmart’s Anniversary sale is almost here.  While Ontario’s flyer isn’t up yet as well as others Quebec’s is. Generally, the flyer is pretty much the same. Simply go to walmart.ca and put Quebec as your location, or click here to view it on the forum.

I was pretty disappointed last week, all the items that I wanted were not in stock. I’m sorry, but having 10 containers of kitty litter isn’t substantial enough to even have included it in the flyer.  I hope some of our readers got a good deal!

  2. EskimoPie says:

I just checked Wamart Canada and the flyer for every province is now up for September 23rd to the 29th.

  4. Katty says:

A few cheap things but the rest… meh.

why do we as consumers put up with all this false and misleading advertising from walmart.they are always out of stock on advertised items within minutes of opening or they never even bother ordering them.this is so the store managers get good profit figures to send back to the home office in arkansas.

I used to work at WalMart for 1.5yrs.. Worst 1.5yrs of my life.. ANYWAY, they never have anything in stock, never have anyone to offer help in case there MIGHT be stock in the back.. Overall WalMart is just awful :/ I went to 4 different stores to find the exercise bike from last weeks ad, and found nothing. Not even a display bike…

  7. Anom says:

Rick its just a marketing tactic to lure people into their stores and hope they buy other stuff since they made the effort to go there

walmart never notoriously has any sale items in stock.so much so that my weekly paper in my town is always littered with apologies for not having items in stock.if you want to line up from 4 in the morning for 2 bucks off laundry detergent go for it,but they are not gonna have the items in stock most of the time.i know as i worked in the warehouse and saw many sad customers…

I walk in with a list and come out with nothing extra. We all knows the “tricks” of the retail trade. I have even walked in for something, nothing on shelf (first day of sale and before 9 a.m.) and walked right back out!

But some of the buys I have gotten are well worth the trip.

  10. Natalka says:

Wow, not much there – all I would be interested in is the pasta.

  11. Minou says:

I went to 3 different Wal-Marts last weekend and could only find the Pampers Baby Dry diapers in size 6!

  12. chimichangga says:

Why do they still have the Pampers diapers on the front page when it was out of stock right from the first day?? And agree with Minou, they only had the bigger sizes!

  13. Fab says:

I was also in search of diapers, size 3. They advertise the largest box available, on sale for $32… But they have none! They had the smaller boxes (still big, but no the biggest) for $39. Rip-off!

  14. coupon girl says:

never mind their deals -last week the tide was cheaper at zellers -i just got the vitamins/toilet paper and price matched them elsewhere

  15. Shellie Cadogan says:

I am with FAb…diapers advertised and size 3 is never available…like really people…..

  16. workghrd says:

I knew they wouldn’t be available at Walmart, so I didn’t even bother. I just took my flyer to No frills and price matched there. The Armstrong cheese and chocolate milk are a steal.

  17. caroman says:

well it sounds like I’m the only one who had good experience at WM. went in last Fri and all the items I wanted were in stock. I found some good deals, PM’d the tide from Zellers, used a bunch of coupons at the checkout and the cashier was quick and efficient.

  18. Josee says:

I got 2 boxes of Pampers cruisers size 3 and 2 size 4 🙂 I went on Monday night. They did not have them on the floor but I asked and they had some in the back 🙂

  19. misskitty_79 says:

Meh. If they don’t have it in stock, just get a rain check & then go price match it at Maxi, or Zellers, or wherever else does price matching in your neighbourhood. that way, you not only get the deal this week, but you can go back & get it again in a few weeks, once you’re starting to run low on the stuff you bought this week. 🙂

  20. Tracy says:

The Walmart in Bowmanville has had almost everything in stock all week except the Zhu Zhu pets and the 32″ TV.

  21. Tammy says:

Does anyone know for certain whether wal mart provides raincheck? I don’t believe they do. Thanks.

  22. Denise says:

i just viewed the 2nd week flyer and realized that most of it was already on sale in my walmart last night (slave lake). if i new that i could’ve got the advil cold and sinus and gillette razors. but i was only looking for the week 1 deals 🙁

and i went to an edmonton walmart on the weekend and it was very busy and had tons of stock. and the cashier was nice and didnt hassle me about my coupons 🙂

  23. kekes says:

Selkirk Manitoba Walmart will not issue a raincheck. Neither will our Extra Foods, (which at one time, used too ! )

  24. Bob says:

Same story as most of the above – water softener salt at $4.00 but after three attempts at two different stores – none available.

  25. KK says:

No Stock! Not a great sale if only three people get the deal!

  26. Ashley says:

The razor blades (Venus) offered for 3.77 for 8 is a typo. The price should read 13.77. I got up early to get some and I was very angry to see that it was a typo in the ad. I wish they would have to give them to customers if a mistake was made. I made sure not to buy anything else because I was mad about the blades.

  27. Shannon says:

I went to No Frills tonight and PM the venus blades, I thought they were a typo because the price sounded too good to be true, I didn’t bother with Wal mart I didn’t want to be disappointed, No frills didn’t question me they only had 2 but 16 blades for under $8 is a steal!

  28. mike says:

The laminate flooring deal is still on, was there yesterday and the price was .99 per square foot
