Forget walking around Walmart picking up items not on your list or finding they are sold out of everything. Order your groceries online then pop by your local Walmart store and pick them up, all bagged and ready to go.
Sadly, they are not going as far as home delivery yet, but you do get the same low prices you’ll find at Walmart stores and can save some time. They do charge $3 as a pickup fee and there is a minimum spend requirement of $50.
Some good news though, you can pre-schedule your pickup for up to 21 days away. Great for on the way home from vacation or on your way to the cottage, just pick up and keep driving. Even better if you do not feel like taking the kids shopping with you but have no choice. Without coupons, or at least delivery, I doubt I would use it but for those pushed for time – it may make a difference.

It’s interesting to read of updates in the grocery buying methods that allow some online component of ordering then pickup or delivery.
If this were to come to Hamilton, it could be a bit chaotic unless there’s a defined turnaround time built into the order process prior to a pickup time.
There is a turnaround time, it is specified on the receipt but currently they are working on next day
This is pretty awesome. Hope they extend it to other cities. I was wondering if Walmart would get into something like this. You can already order almost all your groceries on their website, with obvious exceptions..so kind of handy to have this option.
