A lot of stores I have been to in Ontario do not give you the full price of the coupon if the price of the item is below the coupon value. Once I was at RCSS and a customer was having a heated argument with the cashier because the cashier would not give her the full value of the coupon because the cashier said she could not make money from the coupon.
Sometimes they do and sometimes they don’t give me the full coupon value when the item is less. I don’t know if it is the store policy or if it is the cashier so I don’t argue about it.
Does anyone know if there is an official policy regarding if a store should give the customer the full coupon value if the item is less than the value of the coupon?
They do not have an official policy but ‘guidelines’ so it is up to stores just like some allow nationwide PMs and others do not. But if you use their contact me form they will replay stating the full value should be given unless the coupon specifies otherwise

Is it part of the WalMart magazine, or hidden somewhere in the flyers?
