Warby Parker Canada FREE ISO-Certified Solar Eclipse Glasses

The solar eclipse will be happening on April the 8th, and Warby Parker Canada is offering free ISO-Certified solar eclipse glasses. You can visit a Warby Parker location up until April the 8th to get your free pair, and they are available while supplies last. You can also print out and create your own solar eclipse pinhole projector, and you can find that by clicking here. This is another safe way to view the eclipse, keeping in mind that you should never stare directly at the sun, even through the pinhole.

Once you’ve got your glasses, there are many eclipse events that are happening in the Hamilton and Niagara area on April the 8th, and here are some of those events:

  • CF Limeridge – The Royale Astronomical Society of Canada Hamilton Centre is running an all day event with free eclipse glasses, parking, and activities
  • Tim Hortons Field – free ticket event with free eclipse glasses and parking
  • Bayfront Park and Confederation Beach have been designated eclipse viewing areas and some glasses will be available
  • McMaster University – Ron Joyce Stadium viewing party (tickets are free but limited to four per McMaster community member)
  • The Royal Botanical Garden – picnic styles viewing party featuring the Hamilton Amateur Astronomers

Click here to find a Warby Parker location near you to get your free solar eclipse glasses.
