Thanks for the alert, FallenPixels! I’m having trouble with e-mail generally so I’m not keen to open a bad e-mail.

  2. Grange says:

I feel ashamed for those liars.
SDM should investigate, find out and retrieve all those stolen points.

At least there are videos in SDM cashier, whoever go to redeem stole points should be easily found out.

  3. Bargain Seeker says:

I received a call yesterday advertising that I had won 20,000 Optimum Points. It felt like scam from the start. Just hung up on the message.

Thanks for the heads-up! I don’t know if I got that scam email or not (so many emails!) but just to be sure I just checked my balance (all safe and sound) and changed my password. It’s becoming a lot of work to secure all my balances and info and what-not these days!

I finally turned off my Shopper’s Drug Mart because I was getting so many.

When you are told of an amazing deal (free $10 Tim Horton card or 8000 points after spending $75) every couple of days, it kind of loses its effectiveness. How often do you think people go to the pharmacy and spend $75+.

It felt like that other scam called “We’re having amazing sales at Sears this weekend”.

Just give us decent prices all year long.

@Valerie, it would surprise you how many SCers spend $50/$75 most weeks at SDM (especially those with diapers, formula and wipes to buy)

Why do you make it so difficult to report a Shoppers Drug Mart phishing scam via emal. All I want to do is forward the said email to you so you can deal with it. Simply provide me with an email address. Thank you.

I agree with Doris Fishman. Why do you make it so difficult to report a Shoppers Drug Mart phishing scam via emal. All I want to do is forward the said email to you so you can deal with it. Simply provide me with an email address. Thank you.

  8. Valerie Ruth FULFORD says:

Thanks for letting me know. I’m getting tons of these emails (several a day) saying that they’re from me! and then giving a shoppers drugmart email after that. The subject line is: You’ve been selected. I don’t see how I can select myself!
