You can see the full Round 1 results here. I also encourage you to visit some of the other Canadian blogs on the list. Some blogs (even with a few votes) are nothing less than a masterpiece.
Congrats on making it to the next round for Best Blog!!
You deserve it!!
Will we be able to vote for you in this round? When does voting start?
Thanks Julie 🙂
Round 2 voting begins Saturday.
yes, you’ll be able to vote as usual but now the competition’s much tougher
Congrats on the round one win!
🙂
Congrats, and you’ve got my vote.
Okay, I may be naive and “older” and perhaps I am missing some deep political message but I took up the recommendation to check out some of the other blogs in this. Innocently I chose the blog which comes first in the Best Blog category and I was so shocked by what is on that page, written and photographed. OMG! Like, am I missing something?? Please tell me because I truly do NOT get it.
ANYWAY!! I will keep voting for Smartcanucks which shows actual talent, BRAINS, cleverness and class!!!!
Yes, I really think that this competition should have been restricted to (not sure if that’s the right word) “clean” blogs. After I read your comment I visited Raymi’s blog and I was shocked to see what she’s doing. I find that Raymi’s blog ranking as the best Canadian blog is a disgrace to the whole Canadian blogging community.I think I might just withdraw from this competition coz I don’t want to compete with blogs like this.
There are other great blogs out there though but not necessarily the ones with the highest votes.
Since we’re used to voting to get results of “popularity” and thus “best”, blogs that we don’t consider mainstream, yet have a vast loyal audience will kick our butt now and then. I wouldn’t sweat it though, and please stick it out, because I planned on voting for you a bunch in the coming week.
No don’t withdraw!!!! If everyone that visits this blog takes 10 seconds to just vote, you could win for sure! I would put a permanent post first on the page every day to remind everyone to vote. You’ve worked so hard and you deserve the credit!!!
