corn pops aren’t breakfast. just cause you give it to your kid with a glass of milk doesn’t make it healthy.
give your kid some cheezies with some milk in the morning, makes the same amount of nutritional sense.

oh wait, haha, there ARE ppl who feed their kids cheezies and think that’s ok. *shaking head*

i think there will ppl who will always think junk food is acceptable to raise your kids on, and the other side who try to fill their kids’ tiny tummies with nutritionally sound food choices.

the blog entry isn’t tongue-in-cheek witty, it’s just sad.

Sara: “I’ve tried donating [sic] opened food and hygiene products but no one wants to take them because they’re opened. It’s a liability thing. The next best thing is giving it to a homeless person on the street yourself.”

then the poster should have given it to someone instead of FLUSHING IT DOWN THE TOILET. like another poster said before me, toilets don’t care what you feed it.

Johnathon: “To all you bleeding hearts, if you truly knew how much food is wasted daily, you’d have a kiniption. And if you consume meat, YOU contribute to the catastrophic environmental disaster that is attacking our earth. But no…you’d turn a blind eye to that and bitch about a box of cereal. And I’d bet you wouldn’t give up meat to do YOUR part to make this a better planet. The enemy is truly within.”

i KNOW food is wasted daily. i KNOW eating meat contributes to “the catastrophic environmental disaster that is attacking our earth”. I’m a vegetarian by religion. whats your excuse? this is just plain wasteful.
lol I bet you’re sitting on your high chair reprimanding everyone else about the “enemy being within” while having a juicy 40z steak all to yourself in your hummer while clubbing baby seals to death. pfft.

    God made us omnivores
just because a plant can’t scream, is it not still a ‘living creature’?
Pitcher plants and Venus flytraps are carniverous plants. what the…? ;)
    has the world gone mad?!

God” didnt make us omnivores…we choose what to eat. I dont eat meat..my decision..not because someone/some book tells me not to.
and vin was referring to the effects of meat industry compared to effects of farming indsutry on the nature/environment. This has nothing to do with them being living or dead. I dont eat meat because of it being a living thing, I think everyone knows plants are just as alive as anything.
