Friends on Blu-ray has sold for much less. I bought it last November for $69 — yes on Blu-ray. It was the same price the year before too (it might have been Black Friday or Cyber Monday) — either way, the price usually hovers around $170-$180. today’s price is no bargain.
I think the price is just misquoted in this article. Amazon is actually selling it for $69.99 right now.
