American Apparel Warehouse Sale, This Weekend!: Toronto & GTA

Wow! It seems like long weekends are the time to have massive sales…and why not?

If you’re in the Toronto area, from today, Thursday, October 6th – Monday, October 10th, you may want to stop by the American Apparel Warehouse Sale. If you’re into that sorta thing! Sale runs from 9am – 9pm each day.

It’s going to be held at the Direct Energy Centre which is part of The Ex. The ad states free admission, but you’ll probably have to pay for parking…since it’s Toronto.

Click here to RSVP on AA’s Facebook page! If you RSVP, there are shopping tips and apparently, they post styles that’ll be featured in the sale.

Just came back from the sale, which I must say was a lot better than the one they held in Toronto 2 years ago. No line-ups to get inside when I went today and there was plenty of stock. Prices could’ve been better but there are deals to be had here! Make sure you check your receipt after paying as I was incorrectly charged on a shirt I purchased. Happy shopping!

WORST SALE EVER. I went to get the Flee Flex Hoodies and i was among the first people to enter the store as i lined up since 7am. I was for sure the first male found the prices not great. MOST items were defects/used and just horrible condition for men. Low on stock for sizes. Mens inventory was just pathetic. I end up going to the cash and looking at my hoodies, one with stains and the other torn and a shirt i picked out already had its buttons plucked out. Just disgusted!

    -DONT GO
    -HORRIBLE CONDITIONS ON CLOTHES
    -HORRIBLE SERVICE
    -USED/DEFECT CLOTHING

Can anyone else confirm the above report about defective clothing? It would be nice to get a second opinion.

Not everything was defective but there was a lot of questionable stuff there from accessories to clothes. A lot of stuff were dusty, dirty and I would say a vast chunk of the good stuff they sell at the Store like the zipper hoodies were. Women’s section had larger selection so there was less but people were complaining about this.

Just came back. There were some questionable things but what do you expect from a warehouse? Just keep your eyes peeled for any defects. The prices were not fantastic but it is certainly at least 50% off retail price. Couldn’t get my hoodie, but got the bandeaux dress ($15), a white vee neck tee ($10), a high waisted flirty skirt ($20) and a cardigan ($20). You be the judge.

P.S. Don’t bother with the staff, they’re not very .. err knowledgable.
