I’ve ordered from AE online before, if you want to return/exchange anything, you can’t do it in store, only online and you have to buy to ship it yourself (obviously), despite sales, I’d rather just buy from in-store.

Yeah finally got it done…I think the duty is 10% before the discount because my original total was U$50.8 (after discount U$28.44) and the duty was U$5.11.
i’m guessing you can apply more than one discount codes ? i did a quick google search and found this code that can be applied on top of the 20% code :

1. why the tax charged on the order is higher than 13% (the Ontario rate)?
2. the duty is more than 17% on the order, not 7-8%?

Leslie, the duty has never been the same for me, this time it was not bad, but the last time it was at about 18%, i wonder if they calculate it on original price based on how much you are allowed to spend during a certain period of time? I cant figure it out, i even emailed AE to ask, and they said that it was the Canadian government that adds the duty??
@ Kenny…did you continue onto the next screen I think it’s the one where u enter ur credit card info? Cuz on that screen they show u the actual total including the taxes and duties and then the free shipping

Anyone pay with paypal, they took $ out of my account and it says transaction is pending? AE says they have no record of my order when i called. Emailed customer service twice and no reply.
My paypal also still says “pending” but when I enter my order # ( check your conf email ) it all shows up. I imagine they had a WHACK of orders to go thru and process! If your conf email didn’t come, your order mmight not have been sent properly. You could take a screen shot and attach it to your email to AE?
I didn’t get a confirmation email? I’ve emailed AE but had no replies.
