I purchased some books from bookcloseouts.ca last week and I’m highly disappointed. They all came damaged, even the ones that weren’t marked scratch and dent. After complaining to the company, they told me that the books were final sale, but it says nothing on their returns page about final sales: http://www.bookcloseouts.ca/Help/Orders/Returning. Beware ordering from this company!
I agree Last year, I bought thinking I could use some of the books that I purchased for stocking stuffers. Nope, most of them had a permanent marker slashed on the side of the book, I guess to indicate “bargain” and if they didn’t they looked used, in the sense that they were overhandled, cover and pages folded, etc…. so I agree with the above poster, buyer beware.
I bought clearance books from Chapters and they had permanent marker all over the sides too, but at least they looked new
