Burger King has released two new poutine creations! Bacon (mmnnn bacon) poutine and Angry poutine! The “angry” poutine has angry sauce, angry onions and jalapeno peppers. I could use an angry poutine right about now.
Are you going to try any?

I went with friends last night to BK, and tasted both of these.
So, warnings:
The bacon kind has less gravy and few cheese curds. If you love gravy, this is not for you. Just ask for regular poutine and a few bacon crumbles in a cup on the side, so you’ll have all the gravy plus bacon, not bacon taking the place of gravy.
Angry poutine is ANGRY. It’s VERY spicy and has chunks of jalapenos like in the picture. It is HOT, “angry” is an understatement. If you want just a bit of spice, this will be far too much for you. Even if you pick the jalapenos out, it’s extremely spicy and isn’t like slightly spicy regular poutine with the jalapenos removed.
I’ll be sticking to their regular poutine, I like it just fine.
Thanks for the review
Meh, I like a good poutine, but I find BK’s gravey tastes like Vegetable Campbell’s Soup (kinda tomato-y)
Hmm. I love their “Angry” items. And with the poutine using a sauce that is not the usual gravy, this might actually be good. I never thought of putting jalapenos on poutine, but something tells me that’s going to be a regular topping from now on.
Talk about junk food toxic waste! Why would humans actually consume this hazardous waste is beyond me. Its deep fried and soaked in overused vegetable/soy/hydrogenated frying oil frozen industrial “potatoes” laced with something that “tastes” like Campbell soup but is actually a cocktail of hydrogenated fats, industrial stabilizers, preservatives, emulsifiers, color and starch compounds that can be found in construction material (e.g. fire repellant insulation).
Bon Appetite!
OMG I have to hide this from my BF who is a bacon fiend!
When I first read the heading of the email I assumed it was a coupon for free poutine…Oh well, We all know what assuming does..:p
Poutine from Burger King? Yuck! Almost as gross to think about as the Oatmeal they added in the summertime. I haven’t eaten at BK in probably 6 years! I’m afraid of the reaction my body will have if I eat anything from BK…or McD’s for that matter!
I love BK’s poutine, our nearest one makes it really awesomely!
Wouldn’t mind trying the bacon one – I know my son the bacon fiend sure will.
Not the angry one, though, no hot stuff for me!
i agreed with mark. so dirt.
lol @ Mark McEwan
@ Mark – it is not that toxic.
It probably (not certainly) reduces a few years from your overall life if you have poor eating habits but if you are active (exercise), eating this stuff is really not that problematic. There are a lot of things today that can kill you much quicker than processed foods or at the very least reduce your quality of life/lifespan.
I like poutine. I’m gonna hit the nearest BK and get me some ANGRY. Then go for a run to mellow out the HEAT and all the while drinking water from my BPA lined bottle. Maybe I should consider buying a reusable glass bottle on my smoke break. 🙂
Totally going to try the Angry Poutine! And absolutely agree with “hmmm” – yes, it’s not the best for the body, but there are worse things. And this is coming from a non-smoker, healthy eater & yogi.
I simply love poutine! C’est tres Canadien <3
@ Mark McEwan: “Bon Appetite!”
LOL. Typical brainwashed pansy.
Yes, the angry is VERY HOT, but it is sooo good. The bacon? That’s for next visit!
I would love to see a poutine made with onion rings instead of fries!
rings ..cheese…. and gravey…yum!
hmmm. That angry poutine sounds pretty darned fine to me! Gonna have to try that one out!
@joe. Some restaurants will do that. I know there is a home-style restaurant around Neguac, NB that allows for substituting Fried with Onion Rings. Definitely interesting.
I really want to try the angry poutine! I love spicy food. Just the description of it is enough to make my mouth water. I really don’t think I would like the bacon one…I hate gravy on anything other than fries LOL I also find BK gravy on the salty side.
