It seems to be 50% off one item.
Did you order any limited edition items? The coupon code doesn’t apply to those. I did a trial order of 3 regular stock items and it took off 50% on all of them. Try it again 🙂
Sara – I’m in Ontario too and it’s usually $6.99. Sometimes Cake releases a free shipping code, so if you’re ordering less than $14, free shipping might be a better option. But anything over $14, 50% off is better 🙂

There are many small retail outlets that carry Cake Beauty as well (that are not sold out of product!), I do and I am in Kingston. I do not charge shipping and you can pay by Paypal. Shipping can take between 5 and 15 days depending on where you are, if you are in Ontario it should be closer to 9. Hope that helps!
