well, I know I will not be ordering from that website again, I’d rather go to the store (or order from a different store), my order placed on Oct. 29th is still “in process” as of Nov. 10th, the cs rep on the phone had no idea when I would receive it, and said I need to phone them in 2 days if I haven’t heard of received anything? there is too much competition to bother with such poor customer service. So word of caution, don’t count of fast shipping from them!
I’m so surprised to hear people waiting forever to get their packages… I remember placing my order on a Friday and it was shipped the following Monday; I received it on Wednesday or Thursday! Though I’m planning to return my items to a store anyway haha… what a waste of time for me.
If the online code is one time use only is it specific to the person who received the email then?
I had great service! I placed two orders last week and had them both within 3 days. And this was with the free shipping.
I’ve actually be really impressed with their shipping times. Placed 2 orders in the last 3 weeks from the website and both arrived in less than a week from ordering online (to Ottawa).
Elaine – The coupon wasn’t received in an email, it was posted on their Facebook page so it’s available to everyone. “One time use only” means that you can’t use the coupon code twice. “Once per account” might be a clearer term.
If I placed an order online last nite is it possible to call and get the discount?

So far I haven’t had any problems ordering from the Gap or through Old Navy. They’ve been quite quick with shipping arriving sometimes an entire week than expected.
I think the code didn’t work as it doesn’t start until Nov. 11.
I also have to say I have been impressed with the shipping – very quick. Sorry that other people have been having trouble.
Is this code also good on stuff from Gap, since it’s the same site?
I called the cs again, in my frustration, as I realy think somehow my order got lost, I’m in the GTA, so WTH??? the standard line I’m getting: “the warehouse is really busy this time of year” what? you are in the online retail business, that’s garbage!!!
I’m happy for all of you getting your orders in 3-4 days, but beware, that might not be the case for all, and don’t count on your order to be deliverd even in 2 weeks! and it’s not even Christmas season yet! that’s unacceptable in my opinion, I would have gone to the mall and could have had the stuff 2 weeks ago when the sale started, I really have had it with Old Navy!!!
I ordered my first time from them recently, and got the stuff within a week, so I was thrilled! Bought a pile of 1.50 items (t-shirts for son; fleece hats, scarves and gloves – really cute!). Shipping was $8 because total was under $50, but worth it in my case.
I had the similar experience like tami. I ordered my stuff on Nov 3 and the order shipped today (Nov 10). This is the second time I ordered from Gap/old navy.
I’ve had orders ship out that day orders take 10 days to ship out. I did inquire and it does state up to 10 business days when you use the free shipping. I’ve found if I just shop from one store on there its quick, if I mix and match with the stores it takes longer. I also think sometime they just are waiting on the stock as well. Either way, if they’ve taken longer on shipping my items they make it up by sending it express.
Its not that bad, certainly not worth complaining over.

Okay this is really too bad… I was waiting till today so I can use the code, and I notice all the items I wanted to buy suddenly increased in price today! So much for that. Not worth it now, even if the code did work. 🙁
It is almost 2 am here, Nov 11th. Code doesn’t work. Sucks. Perhaps they put a limit on it. Are your sure you didn’t have to ‘like it’ to get the code on Facebook? Perhaps they are generating them individually for each person who clicks ‘Like’…
There is a code on the ‘Give and Get’ email we all received (ex. DCTW373634…), THAT is your own personal code for 30% off online, and works great. Check your emails, Ladies! 🙂

thnx everyone ..scrolling down ur conversation i was losing hope of finding a code as i was at checkout and the promo code i had got in the email..that i already used once wouldnt work..but when i reached to the phone number provided by one of u ..i became happy and i was delighted whn someone really answered my call on a sunday around 8:30 🙂 thanx everyone once again i managed to save 30% for the second time.. ..
Im with Tami on this one. I ordered stuff from The Gap on November 30th. Its now December 9th and its still pending. All I keep being told is “let us know if it hasnt shipped by such and such a date”. The only thing is they keep moving the date. This is for my daughter who lives 48 minutes away from their warehouse. Absolutely inexcusable. And Sally I hate to correct you here but the shipping time does not include when your items are sitting waiting to be shipped. Its the time to allow after its shipped. In other words they are quite free to ship next July for all I know as long as once its shipped it gets there in 9 days maximum. First and last time I order anything from them.

I did contact them and got a reply by email where they included this “For your reference, we do not guarantee that your order will ship within
a specific time frame; however, we do promise that orders will arrive
within a specific time frame.” Something they dont actually put on their website. Not that I can see anyway. I just called them and was told 4 times that they couldn’t find my order number. Asked for my address and said yes okay it will be out on the 13th. Another date, I’ve been given. She then repeated the address to be shipped to. And gave mine. Im in Newfoundland. My daughter where I want the delivery to go to is in Toronto. At this point Im not sure when it will be shipped or which of us will end up getting it. Very frustrated.
