You can’t use coupons at Dollarama! Too bad though, because we could get alot free.
Got a nice red v-neck knit shirt this week in Kitchener for $2
I was in one of those bargain warehouses yesterday to look around. I noticed they were selling food that was out of date, and many of the brands were unknown Canada Choice or Canada Standard grade. The nutritional standard would be ok but the taste would be not be what we expect. I guess you get what you pay for.
I’m sorry, but this scares me…especially the $1 food items!!!

I drew the line when I purchased candy canes @ Christmas, only to find out they were 2 years past the expiration date.

I got a three pack of Froot of the Loom boys boxer briefs for $2. They come in Spongebob or Power Rangers and are in a plastic casing.
We get raisin bread, bread, hot dog & hamburger buns $1 (Malvern, Toronto)
Also mandarin oranges (same brand as groc. store) 2/$1- Never had any quality problems. I buy a batch and make toast,bread pudding,garlic bread, crumbs for coating & croutons.
I got DIM pantyhose for $2.00( retail for $12.00) at Aurora store
I got Earth’s Best Organic baby food jars(banana, apple/banana, vegetables & pasta, and sweet potatoes)at the Londondary location in Edmonton, AB. They were 4 for $1! Most are good until 2011. Other great deals there were the maraschino cherries for $1.25 (good until 2011) and full size peanut smartie bags for $1 (best before Sept 09 but they will be long gone by then).
Kraft Dinner ( the real kind ) is at Price Chopper at .79 cents a box.. here in Kingston anyways ..
just found large bottles of body lotion Dove Pro-Age at $2. I was buying these at Loblaws during the winter at 5.44, but Zellers still has them on their shelf at 8.00. This is a really good deal. Found in Montreal. I didn’t see any serum though, just the hand and body lotion.
I found WonderBra’s at my local dollarama for $2!!!! They are really excellent quality and would cost $20.00+++ anywhere else. Now try to top that! Dollarama gets great deals and has saved me a lot of money on shampoo, creams etc. I love Dollarma.
My g/f bought some panty hose in an emergency at the store near our cottage … got “Sapphire” brand … she says the quality is every bit as good as ones costing between $8.00 to $10.00 elsewhere. Nylon and Lycra, they looked great on her.
And, she was pleased they actually came in “sizes”, not just a “one size fits most”; and in black and taupe.
Just went to the Dollarama in Montreal.
They had Dove Shampoos and Conditioners-Big Size 473ml, Dove Treatments, Dove Hairspray and Dove Body Wash -Supreme Creme oil 573ml and Dove Beauty Wash 710ml!!!!
I also found French’s Honey mustard dipping sauce!
