Toronto Hydro Customers are eligble to receive a free power bar!
Here are the details:
Visit us at Toronto-area Walmart and Sears stores or select Canadian Tire and Staples stores during the last two weekends in October to receive a free power bar.
•You must be a Toronto Hydro customer on Time-of-Use rates.
•To be eligible, bring your original 2010 August or September Toronto Hydro bill to an event.
•You’ll be required to complete a short survey
•One power bar per electricity bill / household.
•First 500 customers, while supplies last (500 power bars available at each event, each day).
Visit participating retailers on:
•Saturday, October 23, 2010 from 10 a.m.
•Sunday, October 24, 2010 from 11 a.m.
•Saturday, October 30, 2010 from 10 a.m.
•Sunday, October 31, 2010 from 11 a.m.

Why does only Toronto Hydro offer all the good stuff ?? There are lots of large utilities out there !!
It makes me wonder how much lower the fixed monthly charge would be if such freebies were not paid for by the ratepayers.
