Sealing air leaks, weather stripping doors and windows, and installing door sweeps are also covered. (Registration closes January 2, 2019)
Wednesday, January 16, 2019 – 07:00 PM to 08:00 PM: Build a Barn Board Accent Wall. Participants will learn about how to build a Barn Board Accent Wall. A Barn Board wall is the focus of the workshop, but the boards can be used for various projects including wainscoting, ceilings, tables, headboards and more. (Registration closes January 13, 2019)
Saturday, January 19, 2019 – 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM: How to Install Drywall. This workshop provides information on the techniques of installing drywall in your home. (Registration closes January 16, 2019)
Saturday, January 26, 2019 – 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM: Smart Home Automation 101. Learn how to Make your Home Smarter: Smart Home 101. This Workshop will teach participants what is Smart Home Automation and what products are Smart. Participants will learn different device compatibility and protocols, key smart home products like voice assistants, smart bulbs, smart plugs, smart thermostats, smart cameras/door locks and door bells and smart home networking tips. Saturday, February 16, 2019 – 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM: Learn How to Install a Toilet. We’ve got a workshop that will teach participants about removing an existing toilet, fitting the new toilet, and know-how for installing it – such as setting the mounting bolts and wax ring, assembling the various components, as well as installing the shutoff valve and supply pipe. Wednesday, February 20, 2019 – 07:00 PM to 08:00 PM: Learn How to Install a Bathroom Vanity. This workshop will teach participants about the steps to properly remove an old vanity, how to safely mount and install a new vanity, different styles and finishes for faucets, as well as basic plumbing know-how. Health Canada is recalling DUREX RealFeel 20 ct condoms. Following observation of variable burst pressure performance of Polyisoprene Condoms manufactured during 2017, RB conducted an internal investigation and identified that a specific batch (1000356816) of DUREX RealFeel® 20 ct condoms distributed in Canada is not expected to meet the registered burst pressure specification at end of shelf-life. As a cautionary measure, RB Health (Canada) Inc. is initiating a consumer level recall.
A similar recall was initiated for DUREX Real Feel Extra Lubricated 10ct condoms on July 30, 2018.

Loblaw is recalling Life at Home® 50 Count Indoor Icicle Microdot Lights: Out of an abundance of caution, Loblaw Companies Limited is voluntarily recalling Life at Home® Indoor 50 Count Icicle Microdot lights with the UPC 058703561861 and model number RKPO-UL05010001P44-1 due to a potential manufacturing defect. No injuries have been reported and no other lights are affected.
847 units of the product were sold between September 1 and December 20, 2018 at the following locations:
Ontario: Fortinos®, Loblaws®, No Frills®, Real Canadian Superstore®, Valu-Mart®, Your Independent Grocer® and Zehrs®

U by Kotex Sleek Unscented Menstrual Tampons, Regular Absorbency have been recalled. Kimberly-Clark has initiated a “voluntary product recall” of U by Kotex Sleek Tampons, regular absorbency, which were distributed between October 17, 2016 and October 23, 2018. The reason for this recall is due to a quality-related defect that could impact the performance of this product. Kimberly-Clark has received reports from consumers of the U by Kotex Sleek Tampons, regular absorbency, unraveling and/or coming apart upon removal, and in some cases causing users to seek medical attention to remove tampon pieces left in the body. There also have been a small number of reports of infections, vaginal irritation, localized vaginal injury, and other symptoms.
The product recall is specific to U by Kotex® Sleek® Tampons, Regular Absorbency sold in the U.S. and Canada and manufactured prior to October 16, 2018. This product was sold broadly across the U.S. and Canada. No other U by Kotex® products are affected by this recall.
