Since it’s almost a new season, I figure you most of you are pretty tired of seeing wool and turtlenecks (though the freezing temperatures outside my window certainly do still call for these winter pieces!). The Banana Republic sale, while it does include a variety of knits and merino wools sweaters, also includes some spring like pieces that could get your engines inspired for some early spring break shopping. This heritage striped basketweave sheath dress for instance, will offer you a new take on the tried and true striped spring uniform we all seem to jump into as soon as the sun begins to stay up past 5pm. Plus, with your extra 40% off it will only cost you $72 (was $160).
And what would spring be without a new tote to carry all your office, beach and other daily essentials around in? This chestnut coloured Larkin Tote is currently on sale for just $105.59, which is quite a savings if you consider that it was originally being sold for $205.

And so it continues, with the Target Canada reductions have now gone up to 40% off their original price during their final closeout sale, with some exceptions applying.
Select pieces will be going between 20%-40% off, but bear in mind that some of these prices may have been initially marked up, only to reflect a ‘discount’ that only appears larger than what it actually is. While this isn’t the nicest of things for consumers to have to deal with, it just means that you may have to do a bit more digging to find the really good deals hidden in Target’s liquidation sale. My advice? Always price compare! Especially before making bigger ticket purchases, it’s really rather easy to do a quick Google search to see if Walmart or Best Buy has prices that can beat Target’s closing ones.
It’s a sad time to have to finally face saying goodbye to Target, but at the very least during your time of mourning you should try to pick up some of their last minute hot deals before they completely leave Canada’s backyard.
This week’s flyer from Shoppers Drug Mart Canada has some hot deals inside, whether you’re looking to splurge a little or a lot, there’s something to be found for almost every budget. The hottest deal from this week’s offering comes on the Xbox One Assassin’s Creed (500GB) Bundle, which though it is still being sold for $499.99, when you use your Shoppers Optimum Card you will receive 20 times the points on this product; which works out to be $179 in Optimum Points.
As is the standard with all purchases with your Shoppers Optimum Points, you won’t be allowed to redeem the points you’ve earned on a product on that purchase.
