Hot Canada Deals

For today only, Sears Canada is helping you get dressed to the nines on a dime, as they are having their special occasion dresses marked down by 60% off and select dress shoes marked down by up to 25% off. This offer will only be around for today, so if you have an event coming up this weekend, or even next month, start shopping for it today and you could save yourself some hard earned cash!

I was able to put together an ‘on the town’ outfit, that could doubly work as an office outfit for days when you’re leading important presentations, and it only cost me a grand total of $105.97. This may seem initially like a lot, but the outfit includes the above Jessica woven gathered silhouette dress (now just $27.99, was $69.99), plus accessories and shoes.

These geometric marcasite oval earrings will blend well with the sleek charcoal grey of your gathered dress, but will also add a pop of excitement with the multiple patterns of iron. These earrings are currently 55% off the regular price, now just $17.99 (was $39.99).

A nude heel may be a little bland, but a nude heel colour blocked with a patent leather black toe and heel will keep your look work appropriate but also mix things up from the traditional plain black shoe. These Life-Stride bright mid-heel pumps are currently on sale for just $59.99, though they were previously being sold for $79.99.
This whole outfit would normally be $189.97, meaning you’ll be saving close to $85 when you purchase it today during the Sears one-day sale.

If you haven’t been by the Hudson’s Bay Canada’s clearance sale lately, I’d suggest you stop over there either on your way home from work to checkout the in-store deals, or take a quick peak now on your lunch break at the online offers they have going on. This sale does not leave any department unturned, with hot deals going on within home decor all the way to men’s and women’s footwear. As you can tell from the title, there are even great deals to be found on kitchen appliances and products, like this Mikasa Kya 5-Piece Flatware set, which is currently on sale for just $35 (though it is regularly sold for $69).

There are also some decent deals to be found on pieces of semi-precious stones and diamond jewellery, with pieces like this Pink Drop Halo Pendant with pink Swarovski zirconia crystal being sold for just $59.70 (regularly $199).

One of the deals that I myself am tempted to jump on is the clearance price on a pair of Frye ankle boots, which are now $100 off the regular price, being sold for just $228.99. The Frye Billy Short is a retro style, that when I checked with all of the other Frye retailers, was normally sold for well over $300, meaning this price is quite a steal; plus, Frye boots are a classic cowboy boot that can be worn year-round, so they’re really a lifetime investment (right?)
The Hudson’s Bay Canada offers free-shipping on all orders that exceed $99, otherwise it’s a standard fee of $9.95.

Starbucks Canada Rewards Members should check your e-mail this morning to see what kind of specially catered deal they have for you today, as it seems there are already two different offers circulating that will, more or less, give you a free espresso beverage when you buy a specific number of additional espresso drinks.

Though the amount of drinks you will have to buy may vary, Starbucks will be running this promotion for all members from February 23rd until March 2nd. Seeing as this deal will rollover the weekend, that gives you the perfect opportunity to treat a friend – or a couple of friends – to coffee. One of the offers is a straight up buy 1, get 1 free offer on handcrafted espresso beverages, while the one I received in my e-mail is 3 espresso beverages and then you will receive a 1 free drink (I know, the one I received is significantly less exciting).
The free espresso beverage you receive from Starbucks must be of equal or lesser value to the drink you’re paying for, so you won’t be able to purchase a tall caramel macchiato and then get a venti caramel mocha (or some other combination that makes for an uneven trade off).

It seems that the wireless headphones movement is really picking up, and as a result more companies, specifically less expensive ones, are beginning to incorporate these wireless models into their repertoire, which in effect drives the prices of the higher brand names, like the Jabra Rox Bluetooth Stereo Headset, down. For instance, right now at the Microsoft Store Canada you can pick up the Jabra Rox Bluetooth Stereo Headset for just $70 (was $129.99).

These headphones use Bluetooth technology that ultimately allows for you to have this wire-free experience of listening to your music or answering calls. The Jabra Stereo Headset also utilizes Dolby Digital Plus sound, so you will have one of the freshest and clearest sounding music listening experiences available on the market.

And if you’re worried about your headphones dying on you while you’re out walking around, you needn’t look to far for a charger as the headphones come with exclusive power-saving magnets located within the ear buds that will automatically recharge your headset when you attach the buds to one another.
Microsoft Store Canada offers free-shipping on all orders with no minimum purchase required.

The Toshiba Hard Drive was normally being sold for $139.99, but is currently on sale for $40 off the regular price and is now just $99.

Whether this is a mistake by the kind people at Walmart Canada, or it’s just them showing us some kindness before Easter, the answer does not appear to be very clear. Regardless of what the intent is behind the shockingly discounted Cadbury Easter chocolate, I’m not disagreeing!

While there are some selections that are still being sold at regular price at Walmart, I was able to find some of the hot deals remaining on some of your favourite Easter chocolate from the popular chocolate brand, Cadbury. Since some of these deals are already selling out both online and in-store, you know that the rest of the stock won’t be sticking around for much longer!
The deals on Easter candy include:

Discount Tuesdays at VIA Rail Canada are back this week with a whole new set of deals on routes across Canada, that will be available on both sleeper and economy class fares. Of course there will be restrictions as to when and how you may use these discounts on your Escape fare tickets, but if you’re looking to take a nice leisurely trip across the country through one of the most traditional modes of transportation, then these deals could be rather enticing to you.

If you’re wanting to book a ticket for travel between the Quebec City and Windsor corridor, then you will have to travel between February 25th and March 3rd. You will have a little extra time if you’re booking for a long-hall trip with Economy class tickets, as the dates will be available between February 25th and March 24th. And as for the longer, more languish Sleeper class fares, you will have from February 25th until April 7th to book with VIA Rail. Of course all of these tickets must be booked for travel before midnight EST tonight.

The Home Depot Canada’s deals on tools recently have been making every other tool retailer pale by comparison, especially right now with their two hot offers on a Black and Decker reciprocating saw and a DeWalt pistol hammer drill being sold for $30 and under.
The DeWalt 1/2-In. 2-Speed Pistol Hammerdrill 10-Amp is currently on sale at the Home Depot for just $24.99, though it is on backorder meaning that you will have to wait 7-10 days for your tool to be shipped (but with these kinds of savings, I’m sure you can afford to be a little extra patient).
This price of just $24.99, though there is no direct comparison on the Home Depot site, is actually quite an amazing deal. On Amazon.ca, the same model was being sold for $179, and Lowe’s Canada was actually selling it for $200!

Likewise, the price on the Black and Decker 7.5 Amp Reciprocating Saw is a considerably very hot deal, as it is being sold for just $30. When I did a price comparison on other websites, I found that the average price of this saw normally is between $60-$85, meaning that you would at the very least be saving half off the regular price of this saw.
The Home Depot has already placed the DeWalt drill on back order, so this deal is bound to not last for much longer if this trend continues.

Starting today, Tuesday, February 24th, Sport Chek Canada will be having two amazing sales that will certainly help you keep your fitness goals for the year chugging along. The first one, is an offer of taking 25% off on select men’s and women’s footwear, including their training shoes for running and lifting.

The discount will already be reflected in the price, so you needn’t worry about entering a promo or coupon code to receive your extra 25% off on footwear. Plus, the shoes that are included in this sale will indicate whether they have had the discount applied to them, as Sport Chek will detail it in red lettering where you normally find the product description.

These men’s Nike Elite Trend shoes may not be the best for workout and getting your sweat on at the gym, but they sure are nice looking, plus they’re being included in the extra 25% off sale.

In addition to the footwear sale that will be happening at Sport Chek today, you can also shop their Training Doorcrasher sale where select pieces of workout apparel and training equipment has been marked down by 60% off.
These sales at Sport Check Canada will only be valid for a limited time, and Sport Chek will ship to your home for free should you spend a minimum of $99, otherwise it will cost you approximately $9.95 extra for shipping.

Sephora Canada’s sale has a wide variety of stock, including makeup palettes, manicure packs, and fragrances, being sold for up to 75% off the regular price. And while this sale alone is enough to entice even the most strong willed fashionista, their additional offer of giving away 2 free deluxe samples when you spend $35 or more is completely irresistible. To claim these two free deluxe samples, you will have to enter the promo code, NEWBEAUTY, at the checkout.

While shopping through the sale, I was able to find a number of good deals on makeup sets that came in well below the $35 minimum, so I figured it would be best to stack a couple of sale pieces to meet the qualifying minimum rather than splurging on one regular priced item. For instance, I was able to buy the Sephora by OPI Sparktacular Gel Kit for just $30 (regularly $42) and also add on the Sephora Rio Night Waterproof Gel Eyeliner for just an extra $7 (regularly $19).

After you have met the minimum requirement, and entered the promo code, you will be prompted to add the 2 free deluxe samples which are a Clinique Foaming Sonic Facial Soap and a Murad Resurgence Intensive Age Diffusing Serum (both of these will come in the deluxe sample size, so will not be full-size products).
Sephora also does not offer free-shipping unless you spend $75, otherwise they will charge you an extra $7.95 for standard shipping within Canada.

Lululemon Canada has added some sweet styles to their We Made Too Much sale, which is really just a fancy way for them to mark things down to incredibly low prices without having to use the word, ‘clearance’. I’ve never really cared what a sale is called, so long as the prices are good, then people can feel free to name a sale anything they please.

While there are the regular pieces in this sale still being sold as amazing deals (check out the Cabin Yogi Wrap at only $79!) these pieces have yet to be featured on this blog and, in my opinion at least, deserve the spotlight. This women’s Namaskar Hoodie, for instance, is being sold for 50% off and is now just $69. The hoodie is not only super cute, but also includes a breathable hood and thumbholes that make it an ideal layering piece for your winter running; or generally staying warm in the bitter cold.

Another sweet idea for outdoor enthusiasts is this Snapshot Crew which, like the Namaskar hoodie, is 50% off, but also has the bonus feature of including reflective details on the front of the sweater so as to ensure you’re seen while running around during the darker hours of the day (be it early morning or late at night). The Crewneck sweater is normally sold for $128, but right now you can purchase it for just $64.
Lululemon Canada offers free-shipping on all of their orders, but remember that any pieces bought from the We Made Too Much sale are final and cannot be returned or exchanged for another size should you be dissatisfied with your order.

Pro Hockey Life Canada is running an amazing online sale right now where you can save 50% off on NHL Toronto Maple Leafs name and number jerseys. This sale will conveniently be held until the NHL trade deadline, on March 2nd, 2015 after which all of these jerseys will shoot back up to their regular price, which in some cases is close to $200.

The players you will have the choices of include Kessel, Phaneuf, Bernier, Clarkson, Kadri, Lupul, Rielly, and van Riemsdyk. You will also be able to pick up these players names and numbers at a cheaper price if you choose to grab a t-shirt instead of the jersey, as they too are on sale for 50% off. Some of these tees are actually being sold for as low as $12.49 if you purchase them in the junior size.
Considering you can purchase a Phaneuf jersey, one of the more expensive team members, for just $99, you won’t really mind paying the $15 flat rate for shipping; especially when you look at the prices on these jerseys found around the web. For instance, Sport Chek has the Phaneuf Reebok jersey with his name and number included being sold for $219, which is $20 more than the regular price that Pro Hockey Life offers.
