The deals that are being offered during Kitchen Stuff Plus Canada’s weekly Red Hot Deals sale are substantially more expensive than their usual $5 and $10 deals, but the discounts on the products are certainly just as steep. Instead of featuring lower priced, smaller ticket kitchen products, Kitchen Stuff Plus has decided to discount bigger ticket items by up to 60% off. For instance, you can pick up a 12-pc. J.A. Henckels International Fine Edge Pro Knife Set Block Set during the sale for 50% off the regular price of $199.99, now only $99.99.

As I said, most of the products featured in this sale are discounted bigger ticket items, so the prices will be a bit higher than the usual offers featured at Kitchen Stuff Plus, but you will be getting a much nicer appliance in return at a price that can’t be matched. You will have to use this coupon if you are shopping in-store, or this promo code, KSP284, if you are shopping online and you will be limited to 2-pcs. per customer for each purchase.
The deals that you can expect to find this week include:
- save 60% off on Country Kitchen Cart with Butcher Block, now $99.99Â (was $249.99)
- save 50% off on CuiZen Signature Series 10-Cup Rice Cooker and Steamer, now $24.99 (was $49.99)
- save 40% off on Oster My Blend Personal Blender, now $23.99 (was $39.99)
- save 40% off on Chi Bamboo Cheese Board with 3 Knives, now $14.99 (was $24.99)
- save 50% off on 6-pc. Multi Melamine Mixing Bowl Set with Lids, now $14.99 (was $30)
- plus more!
These offers with the Kitchen Stuff Plus coupon will expire on May 17th.

Released on Tuesday, May 5th by the Canadian Food Inspection Agency, was the recall of all Costco Kirkland Signature Creamy Natural Peanut Butter that was sold in two-1kg packages. The only peanut butter that  by this recall are jars that have a best-before date from November 17th, 2015 to January 8th, 2015. The reason for this recall was that health inspectors suspect that there may be bits of plastic in the jars.
The UPC code for the affected jars is:Â 0 96619 89682 0. The announcement said that the jars were sold across Canada, so if you have bought one of these packages recently, no matter your location, be sure to check the expiration dates and UPC code.

While browsing through the Walmart Canada clearance section, I found an awesome markdown on the Sony DJ Style Headphones (MDRV55R). Originally, these headphones were being sold for $128, but currently they are being sold for just under $50, now only $48.

By comparison, Walmart’s price is on average about $25 less expensive than what other retailers are selling the same pair of headphones for. At the Sony Store, they are selling the headphones for the most expensive at $79.99, while Amazon.ca has them for not much cheaper at $74.01. Even the least expensive price was still about $20 more than the price Walmart was selling their Sony DJ Style Headphones for, as at Newegg.ca they had the same headphones on sale for $69.99.
If you’re looking for a site with up to date reviews, then I’d suggest going over to the Sony site, where most of the reviewers couldn’t get over the quality of the headphones’ sound in exchange for the lowly price that they had paid.
Walmart Canada offers free-shipping on all orders that are $50 or more, so since you are just below this minimum I’d recommend finding a small filler item to bump you over the minimum qualifying fee.

The Hudson’s Bay Canada has switched their flash-sale once again for their week of Mother’s Day deals, and for today’s deal you can pick up luggage (either for yourself or for mom) for up to 75% off the regular price.

In addition to this flash-sale, for this entire weekend if you are shopping either online or in-store with your Hudson’s Bay Credit Card or MasterCard, then you may qualify for saving an extra 15% off on your purchase. - lingerie and hosiery
- sleepwear and robes
- sunglasses, jewellery and accessories
- handbags and wallets
- menâs and womenâs watches

You will not be able to use the extra 15% off on the luggage sale that is currently going on, but you are already saving so much in this sale you honestly won’t miss the discount. For instance, you could pick up an entire London Fog travel set for just a little over a $100. This London Fog Abbey 360 Ultra Light 24 inch Spinner is currently on sale for just $75 (was $300), and to complete your travel set you could pair it with this spacious London Fog Abbey Cabin Bag for just an extra $31.25 (was $125).
The Hudson’s Bay will be running the luggage sale until 11:59pm EST tonight and the extra 15% offer will be valid until Sunday, May 10th.

If you were planning on buying any big ticket items from Sport Chek Canada over the next few days, I’d advise you to hold off on buying it just yet. The reason you should wait, unless you think that what ever it is that you have your eyes set on will sell out, is that this coming Wednesday and Thursday, May 13th-14th, Sport Chek will be hosting a Friends and Family event where you can save 25% off on regular priced items and an extra 10% off on sale items.
If you are shopping online at Sport Chek, then you will be required to enter the promo code, FF0515A, at the check out to receive either the 25% or 10% off.

While a lot of you may have seen this post and turned away from it like a vampire to the morning sunrise, some of you may have been able to see past the word, ‘winter’, and to brave through to see that there are some really great deals in this Last Run winter clearance sale from SportingLife.ca.

Majority of the jackets included in this sale at Sporting Life are on sale for half-off the regular the price, though there are even some that are discounted by more than that. For instance, this Sunice Men’s Cascade S5 Insulated Jacket is currently being sold for $199.99, though it was originally being sold for $629. There are a number of markdowns that are similar to this one, so even though we all are chomping at the bit to break out our summer shorts and bathing suits, if you can handle looking at winter coats for just a moment longer you could really be saving yourself some money for next winter.

It’s no secret that Canadian Tire has had their eyes on Target Canada’s retail stores for some time now, and when the American company announced that they would be closing their doors to Canadian shoppers back in January Canadian Tire wasted no time in working out a deal that would secure them some of their sought after real estate. In a statement issued on Wednesday, May 6th, Canadian Tire Corp. announced that they had reached a $17.7 million dollar deal (they are yet to release whether that number is in American or Canadian dollars) that would expand their store space across the country by 400,000 square feet.
Target officially closed all of their stores last April, and of those 133 Canadian Tire is set to take over the spaces of 12 locations from across the country, which include:
- Les Carrefours Rimouski, in Rimouski, Quebec
- Place Versailles, in Montreal, Quebec
- Hillside Centre, in Victoria, B.C.
- Village Green Mall, in Vernon, BC.
- Aurora Centre, in Aurora, Ontario
- Sudbury Super Mall, in Sudbury, Ontario
- Grant Park Shopping Centre, in Winnipeg, Manitoba
- Driftwood Mall, in Courtenay, B.C.
- Tamarack Shopping Centre, in Cranbrook, B.C.
- Bayers Lake Power Centre, in Halifax, NS
- Northwest Centre, in Moncton, NB
- Place Alexis Nihon, in Montreal, Quebec
Canadian Tire believes they will be better able to satisfy their customer’s needs with these newly acquired spaces that are located in more convenient areas, and have more physical space which will ultimately allow them to restock with more popular products.

Set yourself an alarm, as starting at 5pm EST and running until 9pm EST, you can shop online at Suzy Shier Canada to receive 40% off on all regular priced merchandise. This flash-sale will also include plus sizes, but it will only be available for four hours this evening.

While shopping through the new arrivals section, I found a number of pieces that I thought would be an excellent addition for my spring/summer wardrobe. For instance, this two tone lace dress with back straps would be a nice summer evening dress and will only be $24 during the 4-hour sale (normally $40).

If you’re looking for inexpensive summer accessories, Suzy Shier has hats, scarves and belts that are already very reasonably priced at their retail price. This two tone floppy hat (also comes in black) is normally sold for $20, meaning it will be just $12 tonight, and this dot fringed scarf will just be $6.60 (was $11).

The Visa Checkout deals that are sweeping across the web nowadays seem to be popping up in just about every corner you look, so much so that it may be worth while to get a Visa card simply for the convenience of the various offers made available on Visa Checkout. The most recent offer, is one at Chapters Indigo Canada where you can take 20% off your order when you use Visa Checkout to pay between May 4th and May 31st at 11:59pm EST.

Chapters Indigo will be offering this 20% off discount for all first time purchases made using Visa Checkout at Chapters Indigo, with the only exceptions being on the following products:
- Apple products and accessories
- gift cards
- Kate Spade
- LEGO
- Rosetta Stone products
- used books/music/DVDs
Seeing as the FitBit Flex is currently on sale for $20 off the regular price of $119.95, I thought this may make a good purchase to use on your first Visa Checkout purchase. With the extra 20% off from your Visa Checkout discount, your Fitbit will be brought down from the already reduced price of $99.95 to $79.96.

Another idea of where to use your Visa Checkout 20% discount would be within the home decor section, where select pieces are being sold for up to 75% off. For instance, this Hand-Painted 10″ Globe is on sale for $99 (was $149.50), which means that with the discount, that would make it $79.20, you would be saving a total of $70.30.
You will have a maximum purchase limit of $1,000 and you also have a fair bit of flexibility on what you can buy with the discount, so I’d suggest you shop around for a bit before you use your Visa Checkout discount (as it can only be used the one time!)
Chapters Indigo Canada offers free-shipping on all orders that are $25 or more.
