Coty To Takeover P&G Beauty Brands

Announcements

covergirl products

Say goodbye to Covergirl coupons in P&G Brandsavers as P&G is set to sell off most of its beauty products to Coty.

The deal will see P&G concentrate on household products while Coty will takeover brands such as Gucci and Hugo Boss perfume, Wella and Clairol hair care products and Max Factor and Cover Girl make-up.

The news releases say that more takeovers are likely to follow as P&G narrows its focus and moves away from products outside of their expertise or under-performing brands.

While the deal is still to be finalized, they held an auction and have other interested companies for the takeover.  There is no mention of Pantene in the news release so hopefully we still see coupons for other hair care lines in brandsavers.

I think Pantene is a great seller so I bet they’ll hold onto it

Scratch that, I thought it was lol.

Coty and Revlon are both competing for P&G.
