Turns out they did not have lots of prizes left at the end – I just received an email saying it was a glitch and to make up for it, I am getting a coupon booklet worth $7.50 in the mail in 3-6 weeks. The promotion was run by Mars so there may be good chocolate coupons in our future.

Personaly, I think they should honour our win..They certainly benefited from the mass exposure of people that were enticed(tricked) to their website and came away with a good/grateful impression. It’s not like they can’t order/make more mitts. What would they say if I ordered product from their site in the amount of let’s say 60.00, but due to a “glitch” with my keyboard, I can only use the number “1” key and sent them payment of 1.11 with a promise to purchase further products in the difference of what is owed? Do you think they would accept that?..Not likely! Coupons are ok, but if I have to spend money on product I wouldn’t normally buy and thus increasing their profits, what good are they to me and what kind of scam is that…I think they use to call that “bait and switch” and is exactly how I feel about this “glitch” JMO

I happened to enter this contest & was told I won a free pair of mittens, but I haven’t received any email notifying me that they could not honor my prize! Hopefully I get the prize, as if I wanted coupons I would order coupons! What a injustice this contest was! 🙁
Here’s the response to my e-mail I sent explaining my dis-satisfaction and point of view of their, so called “contest”…My opinion has not changed! I like how the capitalize the word “free”…like they are doing me a favour by dis-honouring their commitment, and dis-regarding their contest…I’m a HERSHEY FAN, not a Mars, nor will I ever be, after being a victim of Bait and Switch!
BTW I have not heard of anyone actually getting any mittens, but many who have received a denial e-mail..Stop and think of how much exposure they received with the Like and Share portion of the contest…over 500 just me alone…Crooks!
