Forum member Frugal Lisa price-matched groceries at Real Canadian SuperStore to combine store coupons, manufacturer coupons and price matching in one shop to save her around $50 on the items shown above.

Price-matching can take time, you need to make sure the items are the exact matches (size, type, country of origin for fruit and vegetables), but as you can see below, it can be well worth it and save you time going to various stores.

3- Nutri Grain bars (pricematched Food Basics, $1.88) $5.64
1- Maxwell House coffee (pricematched Walmart, $2.97) $2.97
3- canned veg ([email protected] $.99 [email protected]$.74) $2.72
3- Quaker oats bars (pricematched Food Basics $1.88- $1.88 coupons) free!! (Coupon was for $2 off, found inside oatmeal packs, but they don’t allow overage so I only got $1.88 off)
1- Trop50 juice (free wub 3 Quaker products) free!!
5- Smuckers jams (pricematched No Frills $2- $1) ($1 each) $5
1- V8 Cocktail $2.50
1- Deli meat $2.29
3- Country Harvest bread (pricematched No Frills $2.00- $.75) ($1.25 each) $3.75
2- packs of sausages (pricematched No Frills) didn’t check before price… Oops!! $10.85
fruits and veg, $12.34 (price matched the carrots to No Frills =$2 and price matched 2x mushrooms to Food Basics = $.88 each)
Green Works dish soap *clearance blow out* $2.04 each used 3x $2 wub 2 cz and 3x $2 wub 2 mfr. coupon. So I paid $0.24 (before tax) for 6 green works dish soap!!!
I also had a store coupon for $5 off when you spend $25
