It looks like Food Basics is giving in-store coupons another try and they have lots in the upcoming flyer.
You can view them all here, but some highlights:
- Tassimo t-disks $2 off WUB2
- Villaggio bread $1.99 each WUB2
- Jane’s Chicken $6.99
I am not a huge fan of this idea, last time they tried it, you needed a coupon for each product so the store was littered with cut flyers and you cannot combine a manufacturers coupon with them as they state one coupon per item/purchase. This also encouraged cashiers to think that purchase means transaction since it specified item separately and you had to break purchases up into several transactions. Since most of them are prices you can find during sales at all stores I would use them to pricematch elsewhere and use coupons to bring down the cost further.
