It looks like Future Shop is trying to clear out their older style 512MB iPod Shuffle’s. They currently have the little white stick for $30 off the regular $79.99 price, bringing this bad boy down to only $49.99. This is a web only deal, so if you’re interested hop on over to the Future Shop website. The sale ends on, 1/25 but I’m sure they’ll be sold out well before then. If you want one I’d suggest snagging it soon.

I got one of these free from TD last summer. I like it a lot. You can use it just like a USB stick, no Itunes, thanks to http://agoraphobeus.free.fr/iShuffle/index.html. I throw on a portable version of k-melon, miranda IM, and Rssowl and just grab my Podcasts after work and listern to them on the way home.
How’s the quality of the voice recorder in the Zen…i’ve been thinking of buying an MP3 with one so I can record lectures in class.
The quality of the voice recorder isn’t brilliant, but for something like recording lectures (as long as you sit close to the front) it should suffice.
