 Redeeming Gymbucks: April 8, 2010 (12:00 AM ET) – April 18, 2010 (11:59 PM ET)
Gymboree retail stores and gymboree.com: You can redeem $25 off a $50 merchandise purchase* during the redemption period. Original receipt or web invoice from qualifying purchase must be attached to the Gymbucks in order to redeem in-store. Your Gymbucks will be applied as a percentage discount on each item in your transaction. You will receive the price paid (after the discount) on all returned or exchanged merchandise. The value of your Gymbucks will not be returned if you make a return or exchange. To instantly redeem online, a Gymbucks redemption section will appear during applicable redemption dates on the billing page in checkout. This is where you will enter the last 9-digits of the Gymbucks number (printed in bold) and 4-digit PIN from your coupon or packing slip

No Gymbucks? You can get some on Ebay pretty cheap. Also www.gymboree.com started the Gymbucks redemption one day early so you can start shopping right now.

i am just wondering how the prices in the stores in Canada compare to the prices on the website. Also how much are you usually charged for customs and do you pay it when you order or when you receive the package. Thanks!

  7. Sally says:

I usually get my gymbo orders in less then 1.5 weeks. They charge 7 plus taxes. Not the greatest but when your hitting really good sales is works out well. You pay when you pick up the item.

If your buying regular priced items I suggest you shop in store in Canada 🙂

Does anyone know when the gymbucks earning period will start again?

You can add about 30% to the website prices for instore Canada, unless there is a sale (Last Spring Break deal – tee $10 us and $12 here).
You can earn Gymbucks during an earning period when you spend $50 in store/online (US Gymbucks are only good online or in US stores, Canadian Gymbucks cannot be used online), when you redeem during a redemtion period you save $25 off $50. The earning periods are getting longer and seem to be starting right after an redemtion period. I find that buying online can be picey with duties and brokerage fees.
I had 6 gymbucks and spent 3 yesterday (2 skirts, 2 tees, a polo and shorts). I earn gymbucks during sales and with a coupon (20% found in magazines and can’t be used with Gymbucks)I resell all my used Gymboree to help fund my addiction:-) I am eagerly awaiting the points program in Canada:-)

The amount charged for customs depends on how much you spent. If you are purchasing a big order, be prepared for a “big” customs charge also (about 20-30% of your order value). This is paid for at time of delivery. I have personally never stepped foot into an actual gymboree store, as I prefer the convenience of shopping at any time, plus on-line shopping provides better selection of sizes and selection. I am fairly new to gymboree, but I just redeemed $100 worth of gymbucks and am eagerly awaiting for delivery.
@macsfight, what sizes are you selling? i may be interested 🙂

I’m 30 weeks pregnant and have soooo many b-day gifts to buy up until July so I decided to hit gymboree.com for the first time. I just couldn’t be bothered to stand in the store, shop and go through different styles and sizes when I can do it over a few days sitting on my tush at home! 🙂

I spent over $300 with the takes and shipping and it came in about a week to AB. I had to pay an extra $78 yesterday at Canada Post, but with the sales, shipping, etc…. I still think I got a better deal, got all the sizes I wanted and didn`t have to fight crowds or look for sizes, etc… in person. All the items were on sale and like someone already mentioned, our prices in Canada for a tee was $12, but online it was $10.

Now to shop with my Gymbucks!! Plus the quality of clothes is awesome and is one of the top sellers on e-bay for kids clothes, if not THE top seller, so you can get some of your money back when you sell them.

I`m shopping for 2 boys! No girls, but the girls stuff is always so amazingly cute!!!!
