A pretty enticing freebie for MMO-gamers who’ve previously dabbled in either Everquest or Everquest II. Right now Sony is offering to reactivate your account until July 25th free of charge. They’ll also provide the software, complete with all expansions, as a free download.
Amazingly enough there’s no catch. Sony Online Entertainment is just desperate to remind players of their roots as World Of Warcraft has been the MMO-kingpin for a few years now, rendering all other MMO’s non-profitable. If you decide to continue your account past July 25th, regular rates apply. Visit eqlivinglegacy.com for more details.
The only time I ever played Everquest was on the PlayStation 2–And only because my PS2 came with a copy of the game for free, with a one month trial.
Suffice it to say, it was impossible without a USB keyboard and mouse. I have a USB keyboard and mouse now, though, so… if it counts towards that game as well (unless the servers have been turned off by Sony, as with a lot of PS2 games) I might play it for another month. 😉
Oh, also it seems that when you click the “eqlivinglegacy.com” link, it links to smartcanucks.ca/eqlivinglegacy.com, which of course is nothing.
Thanks LC! Fixed! 🙂
Hands down, Apple’s app store wins by a mile. It’s a huge selection of all sorts of apps vs a rather sad selection of a handful for Zune. Microsoft has plans, especially in the realm of games, but I’m not sure I’d want to bet on the future if this aspect is important to you. The iPod is a much better choice in that case.
That’s great.very helpful,thanks a lot
Sorry for the huge review, but I’m really loving the new Zune, and hope this, as well as the excellent reviews some other people have written, will help you decide if it’s the right choice for you.
