Honest Ed’s is hosting a free lunch for 15,000 people in Toronto on July 25. The free lunch will include hot dogs, chips, drinks, pastries, activities for children, surprise gifts and more. There will also be Caribana performances and hula dancers. If you are in Toronto, head over to the corner of Bathurst and Bloor, between 10 am and 7:30pm to be part of this event.

I don’t know about generous(they could just quietly donate money to any charity,couldn’t they?). You may look at it as the way to advertise the business. I bet it’ll be all over the news stations. And not, I’m not standing in line for hours for some hot dog lunch.

Honest Ed’s family has been giving away a lot of free stuff (turkey for thanksgiving, yearly street party, show tickets). If you don’t feel like standing in line, by all means don’t. And if you have the means to go buy your own hot dog, you should do that instead and leave the line for those who really needs it. They’re one of the most generous families in Toronto. You come here and start talking shit about them is horrifying. What makes you think they don’t donate to charity anyway? Can’t you just take someones generosity for what it is instead of spinning some ugly story about them doing it for publicity? Shame on you!
Thank goodness the temperature has droppped as has the humidity. The waiting will be easier for those who choose to attend this event tomorrow.
