Thank you! I just ordered me one!

  2. Annemarie says:

Wow, what a deal. Thanks, I just ordered mine. 🙂

  3. terrarankin says:

i know S&H is &8.95 but what do you think the other shipping costs are from US to Can? (read the fine print re: you are responsible for all other shippings costs) I really want to order one, let me know your thoughts

  4. Em.ma says:

Terrarankin, I think they are referring to any duty and additional taxes that you may have to pay when it crosses the border. Does anyone know?

  5. hm says:

^yes, that is likely what they’re referring to. however, if they mark the customs form properly, at a 0$ item, you won’t be charged tax/etc.

maybe someone could send them an email reminding to adjust item value on the customs form.

  6. sharp1 says:

I ordered one months ago and was charged just the shipping of $8.95. It came out to just over $10 with the exchange. The Cdn dollar is worth more now, so it would be even less. There were no other charges.

  7. sharp1 says:

I actually suggested this deal months ago, but it never got posted. I’m a rookie at this, so maybe I did something wrong.

In any case, glad it got posted now.

  8. itsjustmebub says:

oh sharp1 we’re sorry we missed it but thanks so much for letting us know there weren’t any additional charges! 🙂

  9. mjtjmom says:

I received mine last week. I love it! I had no additional charges, just the original shipping cost. They have excellent customer service too. I never received a PayPal notification so I emailed Udder Covers to see if they received the payment. They actually phoned me the next day to say that they had received it. This is a must have for all new Mommies. Breast is best!

  10. AmberLab says:

    Wow, color selection went quickly!

  11. Kris says:

oh wow, amazing deal! I wish I could use it myself but my youngest has been weaned for 3 years now 🙁 oh well, he was 20 months old so we had our time 🙂

I’ll post the link to the young mommies on my website though as I’m sure quite a few would go for the offer!

  12. mommy2alayna says:

Do you know if you can still get the patterns that are on backorder with this deal?

  13. Kelsey says:

    Mommy2alayna
I just ordered one that was on backorder and it allowed me to use the coupon.

  14. This is a great deal! I bought one of the gift sets on backorder and am having it shipped to a friend in the states whose baby is due next month! The coupon worked and the total came to $13.95US. The option to use paypal is really handy too!

  15. Mandolin says:

FYI : If you read online many people say this is a scam. The company may sell credit card imformation. Google for uddercover scam. I ordered one and it came no duties were necessary. The shipping only cost them 2.00 btw it is pretty lightweight. I still use the cover but it is not that nice. Now I am now checking my credit card regularly. I would pay with paypal or do not order it. Do not use a credit card. I have not been charged anything extra yet but it seems very plausible they ship it cheap to sell credit card info.

  16. itsjustmebub says:

    This is not a scam

there was a response directly from the company on google:

There is a lot of misinformation online about our company and so I want to put your mind at ease. From the moment you enter our site, you are directed to a secure server brought to you by Go Daddy and when you begin to shop, there is an “s” which stands for secure in the address bar so it reads “https://“. There is also a padlock icon that shows up as well similar to an online banking experience. We work with Comodo which is similar to Hacker Safe and they verify that our site is secure daily as well as offer an insurance policy of $250,000.00 just incase. We offer PayPal payment options as they protect the buyer as well. We work with Authorize.net which is the largest merchant company in the world. All credit card numbers are encrypted when entered in our site and going through Authorize.net’s system. There is no middle man company. We do not store credit card information in any of our systems and do not store them on servers either. No one here has any access to credit card numbers at all until the customer gives it to us over the phone and we have to look up that type of information through Authorize.net only. It’s hard to work with on a customer service level but it protects us as a company and you as the end user. There is only 3 ip addresses that have access to our system. We do not work on wireless browsers. Our companies are also in good standing with the BBB and Milk Bands has been around since 2005 with a very good reputation around the world. I do believe that this false information that you may read online about us is pushed by competition of ours that wishes to put us out of business by saying things like this about our company on forums or blogs and some women out there like the gossip. It’s not to their best interest to have a company selling product as cheap as ours when they’re trying to keep their prices high. It’s also not in our best interest to rip women off so that they can let all their forum friends know in a matter of seconds. We do not do business that way. If you have any specific questions for me, I can go ahead and answer them for you. We answer our phones over here unless we’re getting orders out or taking our kids to the doctor and such. We take care of our customers and want to be around for the long haul and can’t do so if we were practicing illegal activity or people didn’t trust us. Thank you for your time. Sincerely,

    Jenny Pierce
    Owner
Milk Bands LLC and Udder Covers

  17. terrarankin says:

it just sounds too good to be true to me. why would they be giving all of these away for free?????

  18. itsjustmebub says:

tons of people have received them. i guess it’s great advertising for them!

  19. Dixie says:

I just ordered one, I am looking forward to getting it. I think they do it becuase if you love it you will recommend it to everyone and they will have to buy it.

  20. freestuffforme says:

I ordered one months ago when I first heard about this deal. I received the item, with no extra border fees, and I’ve had no problems at all. The patterns are different now, so I’m going to order another one. I don’t have any kids of my own, but I know a lot of women with babies and these are great gifts.

  21. terrarankin says:

k, im satisfied, i will order one now for my friend who is due in a few months!

  22. booja says:

    Thanks!!

  23. ethelmay says:

    What a great deal!
I ordered one for my daughter. I wonder if the offer will allow a person to make more than one purchase at the special price? I might give it a try.

  24. ethelmay says:

    Ps THANK YOU SO MUCH!

  25. CL100 says:

ethelmay – I was able to order more but you just have to process them separately and pay for the shipping in order to capitalize on the discount

  26. Trinity991 says:

I ordered one the last time they had this promo. I wasn’t charged any duty. I gave it to my sister-in-law, who really likes it.

  27. gemma says:

i also order one of these a while back, and received it with no problems. i later heard about the CC scam, and was glad i’d paid with paypal. I actually ordered the set, which came with the cotton breastpads, and milk band bracelet thing, which i didn’t need. it only cost a couple more dollars than the shipping, but i found no use for the bracelet, and the breast pads weren’t much use, being small and puffy once washed. the nursing wrap i ordered was pink, and not much good, as it’s not very big, people can easily look down it and see your boobs anyway, and it’s very flimsy so it doesn’t stay in place. the ones in the picture look different… but that could just be the picture. i’d advise someone looking at getting a cover now, it’s probably better to spend more and get something decent, even if it’s investing in more nursing tops/shirts, because they come more in handy anyway. 🙂

  28. Justine says:

I am surprised no one commented on the name “udder covers” makes me think of cows.

  29. Kitty says:

I think it’s an “udder”ly horrible name & a pretty disappointing invention too. I mean, why are we so eager to have something that propagates the misconception that breastfeeding is a shameful act that should be covered!?

  30. ethelmay says:

    Kitty,
I agree with being open about breast feeding and never covered up in public, but was discreet, however, some girls like my daughter, are shy about breast feeding and since I don’t sew, I think udder covers are a great idea!

  31. itsjustmebub says:

    I also think it’s a great idea.
No there is not a single thing wrong with breastfeeding, BUT at the same time, not everyone wants to see your boob lol.

  32. Kris says:

It’s all about getting the word out (and your product out there too). It makes perfect sense to be offering a promotion to kick-start your sales.

I absolutely support breastfeeding in public and agree that woman should *not* have to cover up. However many woman do find they are more comfortable having a blanket or something there to obscure the view (this can also be handy if you have a curious baby who wants to see the world!).

So for less than $10 (which may even be less than the cost of a light, large baby blanket), why not have one that you can slip over your neck to hold it in place and holds itself out so that you can peak in at your baby?

I’ve been so excited about this offer I’ve even signed up as an affiliate and am planning to promote in one 3 of my .coms! I really hope the promotion continues for a long time! 🙂

    ~Krismom

  33. Dixie says:

Kitty, I am all for breastfeeding in public but I for one am not comfortable without some sort of cover, so this is great. I used large recieving blankets with my first and never felt the need to leave the room or hide (though some people would have liked me too even though I was covered) but did like to have some sort of cover. This was my personal choice and love that this product is available.

  34. benji says:

It’s an apron? Why the big deal? Go to the Dollar Store and save on the S&H.

Nothing special about this..if you don’t want to breasts to show while feeding, you can use a blanket, towel or, ahem apron for a lot less than this “free” ($10 S&H) “udder cover. (the name’s just icky to me too!)

  35. ethelmay says:

I was just out for the evening and saw a woman using one of the udder covers. She loved it because of the way it let her ‘keep an eye on things’ without worrying that someones eye was on her things!!!! lol!

  36. $10 is way worth it for this great cover! I love how it bows out so you can have eye contact and adjust as needed without exposing yourself. I am totally comfortable nursing in public but I know it makes some ppl uncomfortable – like my Dad and FIL!

  37. HaydensMom says:

Just received an email from the company and they are offering the covers free with the code “Christmas”, just pay S&H.

  38. Marta says:

It’s March 2011 and the free promo is still on with a $9.95 shipping rate. I just used the code ‘Christmas.’ As for not needing to cover up when nursing in public, maybe you are okay with it but perhaps other people are not, particularly the older generations. It is just respectful to consider other people’s feelings.
