Note that this is not applicable to all 6V batteries. If you come across 6V batteries that have AAs or don’t please leave a comment with the brand name to let us know.

Update: Colin Boyd for pointed out that this is nothing more than a joke. After looking into it apparently most 6V batteries do not have AAs.

Does the name “GAGfilms” not tell you something?
This is a joke.
Take it off the site immediately
I repeat. This is a joke. Do not fall for it
Thats interesting, but kind of dangerous.
What if the battery infact does NOT have AA batteries and in the process of you opening the 6V battery u expose the harmful substances inside it?
hmmmmm is this too good to be true? and even then if it is, what kind of AA batteries are they? certain equipment is only supposed to use certain kinds of AA.
Uhm, can someone please tell me why the username of the person who posted this on youtube is indeed “Smartcanucks”? Clearly, it was someone from this site that posted that.
Please disregard my last post, I just realized how stupid it was. =D
this isn’t very safe. i wouldn’t recommend it unless you plan on making an explosion. the batteries inside aren’t meant to be seperate, when rubbed together there is a chance that an explosion will occur.
also 9v batteries have AA batteries in them…but can be explosive.
Although this film was a gag, did you know that many battery packs for some common things like RC cars are made of normal AA batteries? They wrap AA’s in some plastic and wires, and sell the “battery pack” at a ten thousand per cent markup.
I think if you had some copper insulated wire, scran wrap, and a little patience, you could save yourself some cash. :p
After watching that first video on YouTube, this video is pretty darn funny:

TO SAVE ON AA BATTERIES, I FIND IT BETTER TO USE THE RECHARGEABLE ONES AS THEY LAST LONGER EVEN IF THEY COST MORE.
