Don’t mind me asking. Where did you get the cottonelle, Ritz Chips and Tetley Tea coupons from? I could use some of those. Thanks

  2. mrsjanuary says:

    No problem!
I got the cottonelle coupons from Shoppers. They were on the shelf near the cottonelle stuff.
I don’t remember where I got the Ritz ones, as I’ve had them for awhile, but I believe I also found them on a shelf at a store.
For the Tetley Tea, they mailed me coupons (not sure why, I think I may have emailed asking for coupons) for a free product and also some samples of Blueberry Green Tea.

    I hope this helps!

  3. Fpolacco says:

Thanks a bunch. I had a feeling that this is what you did as, I do the same thing. I wrote to Sponge Paper Towel and let them know how much I love their product and they sent me a $3/- coupon as a thank you.

  5. ceejay says:

May I ask where you got the Busy Bone coupons? My pups would be quite happy with some of those!

  6. seajay says:

Could you tell me if the cottonelle wipes coupons are still available at Shoppers and where did you redeem them, also where did you get the Toblerone and the Mr. Clean erasers?

  7. mrsjanuary says:

Fpolacco – oh yes, they love compliments! 😉

    Nosepuppy – walmart

    ceejay – i got them here: http://www.save.ca/fancyfeast_en/prod_page.php

seajay – they should still be available, i just got them the other day. i redeemed them at walmart. i got the toblerone from walmart as well. the mr. clean erasers i got from real canadian superstore (they have them at loblaws as well for the same price).

  8. Tom says:

    Congrats!

It looks like you were very diligent in getting your deals.

  9. Lee says:

very nice score! its true about calling without complaints on the agenda – we called with a question about baby wipes, and the woman offered us coupons. when they arrived, they included free product items. just goes to show you never know…

  10. Neel says:

    Good job!
Would you mind telling us where you bought Cavendish French Fries and Chapmans Ice Cream?
    Thanks!

  11. That’s insane. No, seriously. Insane. I wish I was frugal like that. =\

  12. Joel says:

You took 27 cotonelle coupons from Shoppers? lol =) tsk tsk

  13. mrsjanuary says:

Tom – thanks! i try to be 🙂

Lee – oh yes, if you ever have a complaint you should always call and they will almost always send you coupons for free products.

Neel – thank you! i got the cavendish ones from the company directly, because i called and complained about one of their products (i purchased some fries and the box had like 10 fries in it). i got the chapmans coupon just by emailing them and asking them for some!

The Lazy Canadian – i’m not that crazy, i swear! only on grocery day 😀

Joel – I sure did. We use them, so why not? I always make sure to leave some though, I never take all of the coupons available.

  14. consumatrix says:

impressive! Where did you find Chapman’s ice cream for $1.97? I just used my $3 coupon at the Superstore and paid $3.48 (.48 with the coupon) for the same ice cream. darn!

  15. mrsjanuary says:

consumatrix – i found the ice cream at sobeys for 4/$5 or $1.49 each. so i grabbed 2 = $3.00 and used the 1 $3.00 coupon for that. this is the smaller ice cream though (1L)!

  16. Fred says:

Where did you buy Cavendish French Fries for 0.99?

  17. silsan says:

Hello, thanks for the tips, but I have a question, how did you get 12 Busy Bones coupons, I went to save.ca and they sd ” there is a limit of one coupon per product according to the manufacturer’s restriction, which could be, for example, once per week, once every 30, 45, 60 days etc. or “once per household”. I woiuld like to get more than 1 coupon for this product 🙂

  18. mrsjanuary says:

fred – they were on sale for .99 each at food basics

silsan – i go to save.ca every few days and order more. i just mispell my address and change my name and they will usually send more.

  19. Erica says:

So how many different stores did you have to go to get all these items?

  23. mrsjanuary says:

    I went to 4 stores.

    WalMart – wipes, kashi, toblerone
Food Basics – fries, tea, busy bones, ritz
    Sobeys – ice cream, keno
    Superstore – erasers

  24. willowsprite says:

I would feel bad cheating the system at save.ca. But if you can do it and feel fine, go for it. 😛

  25. Adam says:

What an amazing score! Way to go! 😀

  26. ilmk says:

This must be why coupons are up for short times.
People stealing 25 from the store racks and leaving one or two for the next person that comes along?

I never knew that was so popular! I’d never dream of taking more then I need.

  27. Sally says:

Whatever will you do with the many cottonelle feminine wipes lol!

  28. mrsjanuary says:

I use them alot, I like them! 🙂 I also gave a bunch to my friend and some to my sister who had never tried them. I will use alot of them in my Christmas gift baskets this year as well.

  34. carmaben says:

Wow, I’m so supremely jealous of you. What do the cashiers say when you show up with 27 coupons for the same item? I want to do the same but I’m too embarrassed to show up at my grocery store and be like “Yeah, I’ll be taking all this for free. Have a nice day.”

  35. Stu says:

    Is this a bragging blog?

  36. Sally says:

Last time I checked it wasnt
