Not pictured:
– 4 Krispy Kreme Donuts @ ?? each (I’m gonna assume they are $1 a piece) = $4.00 – 2 samples and 2 FREE coupons = FREE! (total saved = $4.00)

Hey good job! Where did you get the coupons for Fusion razors and the scrubbing bubbles?

  2. mrsjanuary says:

Hi Carla! I got the fusion razors here: http://www.save.ca/gillettefusion_en/?code=cce8761008ede6f3bd2f9f81e472c162&uid=gilfue-1539
and the Scrubbing Bubbles were FPC I received in the mail a few weeks back (Smart Source booklet with coupons)

  3. mc says:

    Hi mrsjanuary
I always hear about ppl recieving the Smart Source booklet with coupons by mail but I have no clue where to sign up for it?
Would you by any chance remember?
Congrads by the way, ur an inspiration

  4. Josee says:

I’m interested in knowing how to get it in the mail too 🙂

  5. Sally says:

Im wondering how you apply for all these coupons though, do you grab extra coupon books, use different addresses, or variations of spellings? Theres no way scrubbing bubbles would send the 20 or 30 that you have so far to the same person.
Its nice to get free stuff, but I personally only request the one that im allowed. Need to leave chances for other people to try them out. I figure there being nice enough to offer coupons and or freebies.

Also I’m curious to know how u saved 35.98 on the razors, since there 9.99 each and you had 2 $10 coupons, wouldnt of you saved 20?

  6. Jim Squires says:

mrsjanuary — loving your posts, but i had a quick favor to ask. any chance you could link to the coupons when you do these posts?

  7. mrsjanuary says:

mc – i don’t believe it is something you sign up for, you either get them in the mail or you dont. at our old house, we didnt receive them but we since moved to a new city we get them every 3 weeks or so.

sally – i do use a variation of addresses and i grab extra coupons when i see them in stores. now, like you are assuming, and like others often assume, i do not keep all of these! i give alot of my items away to friends and family that need it and dont have the time to clip coupons and shop the deals. i do keep about a years worth of certain products for myself and the rest i donate. oh and about the scrubbing bubbles, i only received 2 coupons myself. the rest i got on garbage night when i walked around the neighbourhood and saw the booklets in recycling bins. i got 12, i believe – not 20 or 30. all of these (minus 1 for me) are going to family and friends. now, about the razors, i say i saved $30ish because at shoppers, the razors i got were regular price $17.99 so i just x that by 2.

jim – sure, i can definetely do that!

  8. Lee says:

How did you come across that fusion razors link? When I go to save.ca, there are only different provinces to choose from.

  9. Alex says:

    Hi everyone.
I would not get too excited about the rasors.
They always underball the price and soak you on the refill blades. Kind of the same as cheap printers and cartidges.
If you do find cheap rasor blades (usually at flea markets) beware. Rasor blades are one of the most stolen items from retailers and criminals lift sometimes up to $500 dollars worth at a time using the inside of their coats.
Don’t purchase stolen goods from flea markets. You are supporting crime. Any deal this seems too good to be true usually comes with a cost to some innocent person or business.

  10. mrsjanuary says:

lee – check on smart canucks forum in the COUPONS section, you will see a link for save.ca coupons. there are more coupons than just is what on the main page

  11. littlevampire says:

Very interested to know how did you get the 12 cans cat food for free.

I suppose the manufacturer or Save.ca only mail out ONE coupon to the same address. And did you go to several stores to redeem them or went into the same store multiple times? It’s usually one coupon per customer per purchase/time.

And I haven’t come across any FREE coupon for Nutro dog/cat food but only discount coupons.

    Let’s share the secret. ^ _ ^

  12. consumatrix says:

I get the Smart Source booklet included in my weekend paper (Saturday’s Ottawa Citizen, which is delivered).

For some reason, I’m getting the Ottawa Sun free this week as well (a promotion, I guess) and they also had the Smart Source booklet in the Saturday paper.

The coupons are always $1 or $2 off or more (and occasionally free items), so they are worth clipping. They usually have coupons for 8 or so items, and almost always a Tide coupon ($1 off).

  13. jess says:

ok great you are showing your savings, why not actually post up some offers on here.

  14. wendy says:

where did you find the pro plan tins? been looking for it everywhere!

  15. mrsjanuary says:

littlevampire – i ordered multiples by putting different names. also, my friends and family who dont have cats order these for me as well and give me the coupons when i see them. i used them all at 1 store. it is 1 coupon per purchase, but i had 12 purchases (12 cans) so I can use 12 coupons. i had no problem at all. i received the FREE nutro food here: http://www.nutroproducts.com/yourfamily/

jess – when i post these again, i will post how/where i got the coupons 🙂

wendy – i can only seem to find these at petsmart!

  16. Sally says:

Isnt it kind of decieving to use different names and address variations?

Those razors are reg 9.99 here, all the thime

Alex your totally right about the razors being stolen a lot, some stores even have them locked up!
They all have security bars on them too! I see them on ebay a lot and wonder if they were lifted. Totally not cool. I buy expensive ones, but I find they work better 🙂 But they are a prety penny!

  17. nitu says:

where did u buy fresh brush max, i have coupns for them , but cant find them in store

  18. adora says:

You can find fresh brush max at Zellers and Shoppers Drug Mart.

  19. littlevampire says:

Thank you mrsjanuary, I just signed up for the free Nutro pet food using the link you provided. Have a nice day.

  20. jess says:

WOW you ordered multiples by deceiving companies with different names and various address changes. So this site promotes taking advantage of companies – You’d think you wouldn’t want to advertise your shady business practices. No wonder offers have been few and far between lately when you have dishonest people taking advantage of them- THAT IS UNFAIR TO HONEST CUSTOMERS & YOU SHOULDN’T BOAST OF HOW YOU LIE FOR FREE THINGS – JEEZ THE NERVE OF SOME PEOPLE

  21. Sally says:

Jess, let me clear up something Smart Canucks, does not promote the posts on the blog unless they are exclusively posted by Boo Radley himself.

  22. wendy says:

my go, its not a big deal! decieving the poor companies, how ever will they survive!

  23. mrsjanuary says:

ha, yeah i’m pretty sure the companies will get by just fine. and like i said, I DO NOT KEEP ALL OF THE PRODUCTS! i give alot of them away.

  24. wendy says:

I dont believe its lieing either when an offer says one per household, and you are only getting one per household!

  25. canuck says:

With this day and age everyone pretty much has access to the internet to take advantage of there own deals.

Decieving companies is lying. Writing variants of addresses and names is LYING. Unless your directly signing up family and friends, with there name and addresses, what else could it be called?
Would you get married with a variant of your name and address? Probably not, Why? Because it would be untruthful=lying.

I do feel bad for the companies because they dont have to offer anything, so I get what im entitled to and thats it. A lot of these companies are slowly closing and moving to the USA. Look at Campbells!!

By looking at the ”stockpiling pictures” I see a lot of those freebies sitting on a shelf, not in the hands of friends and families, so is that another lie? Are you just holding it for them? LOL!

  26. mrsjanuary says:

Actually, yes I AM holding them. I am an hour away from my family and friends (we just moved) and with the cost of gas, we don’t see each other often. If you look at my stockpile now, it has about half of what it does in those photos because I packed most of it up to bring for family this weekend.

However, I am not going to battle with anyone. If I am a liar to you, sobeit. I am a liar. A cheater. A theif. Whatever the case may be, I can still sleep at night because I donate AND have enough to last me a year with money still in the bank and that’s all I care about.

  27. Fpolacco says:

The Smart Source booklet comes in the Toronto Star on Saturdays and in the Toronto Sun on Sundays. They come maybe once a month or every 6 weeks. People in Mississauga and other areas get it with their community news paper. Hope this helps

  28. Fpolacco says:

mrsjanuary – keep up the good work. I, and I am sure a lot of other people see the good that you are doing :). No matter what you do, good or bad, people are out there to pass judgement. So, let them. I enjoy every coupon I get and every freebie that comes my way. And, I am not ashmed of it. If I don’t grab the offer – someone else will.

  29. willowsprite says:

Where can I find the razors at $9.99? I have the $10 coupon but the only ones I see are $15.99.

  30. Stu says:

But, you are donating what you lied to get…is that really donating? You didn’t pay for it. Does that really make you feel good?

  31. Johnn says:

Good she is doing?? For each extra sample she SCAMS, one of us is deprived of the opportunity to sample and try out a new product.

Imagine right now she bagged 100 of those Glade Wisps. Would you have like to have one?? Well tough, Cassie is too greedy to think about people like us. She gets what she can and basically flips her finger at us. Here, look at me, look at what I got, and f&%$ you all.

Robbin’ Hood also steals and give away his loot, but it still make him a criminal. MrsJanuary is no different. She’s a bully and a punk.

Save.Ca has been notified. They will go through their system to look for multiple orders to the same address with modification to the name. They will consult with their legal team to determine what to do next. What she did is illegal and contravene the Canadian Business Consumers Act.

MrsJanuary thanks for posting the evidence and confession. It builds your own case against you.

  32. taylorla says:

I think it’s great that MrsJanuary is sharing her money saving tips with all of us who doesn’t want to cut costs. They put out coupons for people to use so why not use them. To the people that are tearing her apart and notifying Save.ca why do you care what she does ? Personally I don’t request more then it says you can have but I could care less if someone else does. It’s a coupon…..let it go! Maybe you should get a hobby if you have that much time on your hands that you have to notify save.ca and rant about how unfair it is that you didn’t get a glade whisp. I didn’t get one but I’m not freaking out about it. When they are only giving away 1000 then chances are alot of people are going to be disappointed. I say get over it! do you even know she got one or 100 as you say ?

  33. Sally says:

Hmmn, I didnt get a candle 🙁 By the time I got my invite throught the email they were all gone

  34. Fpolacco says:

This is all so childish – grow up Johnn. Because you can’t get something, you are spoiling it for everyone. Companies charge us a lot for many things. So, what is the big deal about having more than one coupon. I am sure that if you had it, you too would use it.

  35. Melanie Spraggett says:

I think you people are going to far. Contacting Save.ca , do you want them to shut down? Shame on all of you , if you don’t like it then , get off of this site. Yes there should be a limit , But contacting save.ca was uncalled for. Some of us have way to much time on our hands.

  36. Sally says:

One person posted they contacted save.ca. I highly doubt save.ca is suddenly going to close down, there a fairly large company. They probably get reports all the time, kind of like ebay, ebay items are reported all the time, there certainly not going to close down shop!

Everyone is entitled to there opinion, and Johns is just as valid as the next person.

Its free speech. Hes more then welcome on Sc just as anyone else is that doesnt agree with him.

  37. Melanie Spraggett says:

I am not saying he is not welcome , I am saying stop making a big deal out of nothing and just enjoy this site.

  38. filza says:

U know people what u are doing,???U are threatening people like mrs january and others to stop sharing their money saving tips with us,beacause if they do,then people like jess will notify companies and ll threaten for legal actions.I agree taking more than one coupon is bad ,but many people condemned this act and this matter should be closed.Whats the need of notifying company???????
So please people let this site community as nice friendly like family as it was before,Dont ruin the environment.
one more thing I request to Boo Radley to remove this post from here ,cause As jess said about proof and every thing,I dont want any bad thing happen to mrs january. She has helped a lot of people and this is not a good reward to her.

  39. mememe says:

you CONTACTED save.ca? For the love of goodness do you not have anything better to do??

  40. filza says:

SORRY for writing the name JESS in my previous comment.I intended to write the name JOHNN.Wish there could be some way to edit the comment.

  41. mememe says:

Also no one worry about save.ca shutting down. they KNOW people “scam” them if that’s what you want to call it. It happens.

  42. lola says:

You guys are ridiculous. I understand we are free to post whatever, but threatning someone is going too far. All of that for some damn coupons? come on you guys! mrsjanuary does what a lot of people does the only difference is that she talks about it. And you Johnn what’s the deal? you went to go get a freebie or something and it was out of stock so your like freaking out?? Get a life! Getting free food from a compagny that makes millions is not a huge crime. Acctually threatning on posts seems a but worst that that. Shame on you people that has no life to point of posting threats

Mrsjanuary don’t let that stop you from sleeping at night and keep saving money 🙂

  43. Boo Radley says:

    Johnn get a life.
